OMG! There no more barriers for me to knit fair isle ! Stephen, you opened my eyes and doors to more knitting projects for me 😆😍 thank you so so so very much!
I'm a knitter for more than 60 years but didn't know this way to change the yarn/colour. That's great - thanks a lot for this idea😊❤
I am endlessly impressed with your ingenuity and the way you can break yarn with your bare hands like it's nothing lol! I will definitely be using this technique!
Oh thank you!
If working two tails you could weave one color over one stitch and then next color over the next stitch. So each end would be woven every other stitch.
Yep works great and no bulk. I recently did this with a bulky yarn and stranded colorwork to weave in ends. I was going to post this suggestion as well.
Brilliant
My mind is blown. I've knit for YEARS but never knew this little trick. Thank you so much for this video! I feel like this is going to make my knitting so much easier from now on, and now I won't shy away from colorwork!
You have literally made knitting easier for people who love to knit different colors
I tried the double Weavin' Stephen today on a garter stitch project knit in fingering-weight yarn. It felt a bit fiddly at first, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. It's practically invisible and feels very secure. So glad to have learned about this technique. Thank you, Stephen.
Endlich mal eine unkomplizierte Anleitung. Danach habe ich wochenlang gesucht. Dankeschön!
I have been knitting for about fifty years and never knew this! Amazing way to take care of loose ends. Thank you!
You make people happy. That is the entirety of life. ❤️
