Vodka helps with tooth pain too though I prefer bourbon. Also tobacco tobacco tobacco. I'll trade you anything I have if I'm out of tobacco.

Haha true that’s a good one to add to the list !

I would strongly suggest using one caliber for pistol and one for rifle. That way you’re not buying a bunch of different caliber’s. Stockpile 556 and 9. That’s what everyone is gonna have so it’ll be most valuable

I agree, but you can’t overlook 12 gauge shotgun, low brass, high brass or slugs.
I’m a pistol & rifle guy but when it comes to protection inside the home nothing can beat a shotgun. A shotgun you can shoot from the hip & 99% of the time you’ll hit your target.

@@doughershberger4285 yes I agree with that. I have a scorpion beside my bed loaded with birdshot. I have stockpiled quite a bit of shells and slugs. Lots of 00 buck also.

In the depression cut shotgun shells worked as slugs look online for the correct place to cut them then more shot shells

Great video Mike. I would definitely recommend a basic fishing setup. Most people live within some kind of proximity to water. Keep it up ❤

oh me;;;;lol;;;now that is a prepper show if there ever was one;;;;I gotta laugh because I be old and grew up on the farm;;;there were no Mcdonalds ;;;burger kings or any of the fancy eating places of today;;;the grocery store was also the hardware and feed store;;;we used to sell cream at the feed store;;;we separated and filled cream cans and sold to feed store;;;;I Luckenbauch was only postoffice, hardware, clothes, blue jeans and denim shirtsor chackis;;;guns;;;ammo;;;fishing tackle and medicine and a bar for beer drinkers;;;lol;;;;everything was dried or canned;;;and frose after freezers became available;;;lol;;;so we didn't call it prepping we called it everyday doins;;;I understand the need for things to have for preservation;;;the laws now do not permit you to do a lot of things done back thenl;;;lol;;;when we needed meat or butchering a hog we always killed several deer to add as butchering was mostly during the colder months ;;;we always used 22 long rifles as less meat was damaged from the bullets;;;was taught the proper way spot for using 22 LR as the weapon;;;of course deer were as plentiful as our sheep and goaats;;;lol;;;might be a hundred head of goats on an oat field and 150 head of deer;;;;anyyway enjoyed this for two reasons one good info for us today to heed and making me remember the old days;;;lol;;;thumbs up and and bring us some more;;;;excuse the typos as no editing cause dog chewed up my speccs

Hey Mike great advice. The only thing I would add is a couple mylar safety blankets. They're cheap, don't take a lot if space and can keep you warm when needed, and can also be a reflector for a rescue team to see.

Love the Streno, easy to store, and cheap and effective. Well Covered mike. The only item id say is simple fire-starting. kit for use with those easy lighters. The ', market' is pushing a ton of kits for $80 and more, Not needed. Cotton balls in Vaseline. Will burn when wet, simple, lightweight. Simple spark to set them off. just an idea.

    • @waynejones5239

You should warn people about buying hybrid seed and then keeping the seed and cross pollination of open pollinated varieties in the garden if they plan to keep the seed. Otherwise, a great video and great information.

What you saying is all good and I would do it if I could but there’s a lot of people out there that doesn’t have land and don’t have farms. Don’t have anywhere to grow this don’t have anywhere to even stock this thing these things up that we need what do people do, I’m just saying you know when you live in an apartment or you live in a trailer park or whatever this is excellent what you’re doing but this is the people that live in the country that have property and land but everything you’re saying is right, no doubt about it

    • @3MISSISSIPPI

I don't see why not. Just keep in mine, if you are storing bulk and planning on several years you will want to refrigerate. (Mike)
