This is why I can't leave Logic. The stock plugins are basically everything you could ever want (minus the tuning plugins, it's been like 15 since stock autotune has been updated smh)
You’re so right bro! And yeah they need to sort the pitch correction out. I suppose maybe because they introduced flex pitch it hasn’t been a priority. Would definitely be nice to have a better auto tune though!

hi stefan - this beat is absolutely incredible as always. i was just gonna ask about the bass instrument/smart strings you used because i know you said you were using stock plugins, but are those instruments you used stocked in logic? if not, where can i get them? they sound so smooth !
Hey Alexis, firstly, thank you! Secondly, yep they're stock Logic instruments. The bass is from "Retro Synth" and is called "Classic Analog Bass" and the Strings can be found in the library. Hit Y and either search Smart Strings or go to Orchestral > Strings > Smart Strings. If it's not there, you may need to download it, but it's free and included with Logic. Hope this helps!

Broooo you're one of my favourite producers & content creators. So clean & straight forward 🤌🏼🤌🏼 I'm trying to work out how to get my midi to work in Logic. I upgraded & now my midi comes up with an error saying core midi error, midi not available. It's so frustrating.

@@stefanguy 🙏🏻 I use a midi keyboard 🎹 Akai MPK49 it used to work when I was on Catalina but when I upgraded to Monterey it doesn’t work now.
Every time I load a session it says midiCORE Error message, midi unavailable 🙈😅

Only way I see this working is if you do a two step D&B drum line... and a drill style bass line - would make it relevant for todays audience
