Im a little late to the channel but better late than never. I got the +5 with the spring for my 17/19x.... Came on Friday. The screw they sent doesn't fit. Sent them a message with the pics. waiting to hear from them. Great video! Believe it or not, a lot above people dont know how to swap these out. Just sub'd.

I wish this plate worked as advertised with the hkvp9. 18 rounds and the slide will no longer actuate .sad, good to know it works with Glock though
17 bucks compared to a 40 dollar aluminum, which you're going to drop and scuff up anyway. I'll be buying a few!
Does anyone else have the issue of the orange magazine piece not fitting right on the extended spring they got sent? That was my only issue so I couldn’t get the extension on there.

The follower should fit. Try to clip one side, then the other. Find the 2 small spaces where the spring fits and snap it into place.

How bad is the rattle of the plate?? Is it like coins in your pocket rattle or just slightly? Thanks
It’s slightly…not noticeable to me, nor does it bother me.
You can stop that…if it annoys you, just dab Blue lock-tite on the end of the plate that inserts into the base, assemble, and wait for it to dry. When you need to change it or replace it, you just have to pry it out.
Any malfunctions to report? My is coming today. Just using mine for capacity, I'll take it to the range for target shooting but won't be dropping and beating it up. I'll use my Pmags for that.
Btw, the glock baseplate was easy to take off with a screwdriver and flathead. The special tool is probably nice to have but not required.
Had some feed issues when stored loaded. How are they working out for you?
@@apexcompany5709 I took it out right away and had no issues after about 150 rounds or so. Since then is has been loaded and I use it for my nightstand magazine or my spare mag when I carry. Used in my PSA Dagger by the way. I'll have to take it out again and test it. Maybe in my G19 this time

Yes, I tried it, it does fit. Not ideal for me.
I’d rather keep what I use, which is a Kydex dual mag carrier (Pancake Style). This way I keep my pockets free to use for other things like my EDC pocket knife and flashlight, blah, blah, blah.
It’s a good concept but unfortunately, it’s NOT compatible with any Magwell…not even the Strike Magwell. I just ordered 2 and have one on 1 of my Magazines and the other as a spare. I have Magwells on majority of my builds so it won’t work on those. I have a completely stock, OEM Glock 19 which I use whenever so I can use that with my Appendix Carry Holster and just use the EMP Mag with Pocket Clip. 2 Mags for me would be a more, quick, on the go kind of deal. Normally I carry 3 Mags total.
You may like it, depending on how and what you choose to carry…😁
I forgot to add…they don’t have a Full Size Strike80 Frame as of right now, only compact.
At Shot Show 2022, if I heard correctly, they may come out with a full Strike Industries Serialized Pistol. So with that, not sure when that will happen or if it will happen…
Bought my first glock clone G17 (shadow system) it came with pmags. you think EMP would work with pmags?
They do work with Magpul PMags
It’s listed in the SI Website of what the EMP is compatible with😉👍🏼

Unfortunately I’m not sure.
If the dimensions are exact, it may fit.
But you have to make sure the steel locking tab will clear when the magazine is inserted, especially if you have a magwell.
could we use the original spring from the original mag?
Only if you have the +0 emp. You could get feeding issues if you have the +5 like he is showing with the original spring

I understand having mixed reviews. Everyone has their opinions so here’s mine for you!😁
The issue people have with these Magazine Extensions is that it does not work with the Magazine Well that they currently use with their firearm. Depending on what Magwell you have, do research before you buy.
If you’re not using a Magwell, the other downside with a Mag Extension is that after multiple drops of speed reloading and rigorous use, you’ll eventually crack or break them, in time. Like with any accessory, it will have to be replaced later on down the line.
I bought these in April of 2020…I carry and use them for Duty, Training, and EDC…I haven’t had any issues with them, therefore, I bought more and made this video. I still use them to this day!
But when in doubt, OEM is always the way.
For a G19 extension, just use a G17 Mag😁👍🏼

Been busy with work and personal life.
Since having them, I’ve actually haven’t had any issues…yet. I’ve been through multiple firearms training and qualifications and have done a lot of speed reloading on concrete and gravel, Mag drops…blah, blah…and not once, anything has happened.
In time, they may fail or break but so far, no issues. Once I have a chance, I’ll get a review out for you and some nice close up shots of what my Mag Extensions been through😆👍🏼

I just ran one on my Duty G22 .40s&w.
Issue I’m seeing is when the mag release switch is pressed, it won’t drop.
Sooooo I thought this was a pretty good install!

Because the Mag Extension may be polymer or a polymer blend…as far as the Mag Popper, possibly the same…but I don’t really know. It’s just a guess/ assumption🤔😁

20 Rounds total in 1 Mag
Magazine in the gun, 20 +1 chambered

Try to disassemble it again and reassemble it.
It shouldn’t malfunction if installed properly.
And check if the follower was seated properly, as well
