😔 I fucked up my mag.

The Strike Industries mag extension is complete JUNK. The follower continues to get wedged into the base plate and makes the gun completely inoperable. JUNK JUNK JUNK....dont buy

This is a nicely made magwell but the transition on the sides from the magwell to the lower part on the grip create a lip as stated before. Also I would not recommend Tacdom as their customer service is horrible if you have an issue. I had an issue with some Tyrant Glock sights not fitting properly, the rear sight fell right out of the slide as it was machined wrong. Tacdom wouldn't do an exchange without me taking the sights to a gunsmith and paying them to verify they were to small. I paid $90 for the sights and they wanted me to pay another $80 to verify they are too small! Best part was they blocked me from being able to leave negative feedback or purchase from them! Read their negative reviews on eBay. Avoid Tacdom!!

17 bucks compared to a 40 dollar aluminum, which you're going to drop and scuff up anyway. I'll be buying a few!

Very curious how this build is at this point in time. I’m thinking of doing a poly80 serialized lower and the strike industries liteslide G19 Gen 3, completion kit, and ultra match barrel. I’m curious what your experience has been so far and beyond erroneous malfunctions how reliable it’s been. Thanks for any help

I wish this plate worked as advertised with the hkvp9. 18 rounds and the slide will no longer actuate .sad, good to know it works with Glock though

Any malfunctions to report? My is coming today. Just using mine for capacity, I'll take it to the range for target shooting but won't be dropping and beating it up. I'll use my Pmags for that. Btw, the glock baseplate was easy to take off with a screwdriver and flathead. The special tool is probably nice to have but not required.

Im a little late to the channel but better late than never. I got the +5 with the spring for my 17/19x.... Came on Friday. The screw they sent doesn't fit. Sent them a message with the pics. waiting to hear from them. Great video! Believe it or not, a lot above people dont know how to swap these out. Just sub'd.

Did you try the 15lb spring? Any issues if you did?

Did the new slide come with pre installed channel liner?

I bought one for my PSA Dagger and I have a threaded barrel. I have yet to put and lead through it but all the reviews say the same thing, you need a 11lb or 13lb spring. Also the muzzle of your slide is similar to mine and there is a bit of wiggle at the muzzle. I've head it's nothing to worry about as the comp will be in line with the barrel and also the bore of actually much bigger to reduce Baffle strikes. I'm gonna get mine out soon but I wanna take and 11lb and 13lb spring so I can change if I need to. Give us an update on it if you haven't already. I'm gonna sub. Be well and be safe Brother.

I was looking into the ark barrel, I have the strike industries upper kit, and lite slide and rod, I was thinking of going with the barrel as well because the whole upper is strike industries parts or should I just use my oem barrel. Is it worth getting the barrel? Or just use the oem barrel? Have you had any issues with the ark barrel? All of this will be mounted on a g19 oem lower with oem parts in the lower. Any advice would be much appreciated.l, thanks

I strongly recommend you Look at the "MagCamWizard" to remove base plates and GRIP EXTENTIONS as well without eventually stripping the the tabs on the sides of the magazine. I recently ordered a lite slide I’m debating on going with oem parts kit or strike industires kit. I think you said you used km tactical kit. Is there any reason why you didn’t go with a strike industires kit in these slide builds? If so do you mind sharing some knowledge? Also have you had any issues with these builds? Thanks for your time.

SI makes good product. People shit on them for the colorful options and a few bad parts. But I've picked some solid items up from them.

Does anyone else have the issue of the orange magazine piece not fitting right on the extended spring they got sent? That was my only issue so I couldn’t get the extension on there.

I still have the original spring set on my gen5. Since the compensator is mounted, the weapon does not shoot anymore:( does anyone have an idea? I suspect the spring is too weak. The sledge doesn't quite close

I have a question did you have any problems with ypur slide when you got it I got the same one on my gen 4 frame and for some reason it Stays locked back even when I don't put the slide lock up it just locks back on its own just wondering if you had that problem?
