Apologies if you can hear construction noises in the background! Also apologies for looking cross eyed, the leaf on the mamei was very close to my face even though it does not appear that way in the video hahaha
Check out my other social media 'Indoorplanthings' on Tiktok and Instagram. I post there more reguarly :)
Thank you so much for watching!
Beautiful plant, this is probably the best video I could find on Philodendron Mamei. I've been struggling to find them in Melbourne though, very few nurseries have this one and all are out of stock. Can't wait own one :)
Wow, I'm blown away by the stunning beauty captured in this video 🥰Thank you for sharing this captivating experience with us❤ Can't wait to see more from your channel.😍 Keep up the fantastic work!"💜💜💜❤❤
This is such a lovely comment, thank you!! 💚💚💚
Wow I wish my mamei was already that big 😍
Thank you for this very informative video! A friend gave me a cutting with only two leaves, it grew a third, and it's now starting to produce a fourth. I noticed it was growing "sideways" and not "up," so I will definitely give it a crawling planter when it needs to be repotted.
A plant with such big leaves looks very beautiful .👍👍
They are big! Thanks so much 😊
This video was so helpful! I just purchased a baby Philodendron mamei and im so excited to grow it big😂💚🪴
Haha no way! Perfect timing to see this video 😁 good luck, I hope it gets huge for you!!
Wow! Amazing plant
Congrats😊
Wow, awesome plant! 😃💚
Thank you! 🥰
Wow absolutely beautiful
Thank you! It's my big baby haha 🥰
Omg, so cute plant 🤗🥳
Thank you! ☺️
first i thought this was clickbait lol, but after looking at it it looks absolutely stunning
Hahaha such a good compliment 😄 thank you! 🫶🏻
Gorg! 😍 I have one in recovery. I use GT also but struggle with spider mites. 😢 One day mine may get that BIG! 💚 🌱
They bounce back quickly after spider mites. Well mine did! After I treated the spider mites, I always cleaned my leaves every watering with a leaf cleaner just to make sure no spider mites were hiding anywhere. They are the worst aren't they 🥲 good luck with yours 💚
Impressive
Thank you! ☺️
I'm down to one leaf on mine. I have wooden stake in it. I'm trying to train it to grow upwards.
Oooh good luck 🍀 I haven't been able to get any of my crawling plants to go upwards!
That’s one beautiful plant!
For your foliage focus fertilizing regiment, do you do full strength per manufacturer recommendation, or dilute it to half/quarter strength?
Thank you!! When I first had the plant I did do a double dose of the full strength (10ml per litre), however this can cause a build up of mineral salts. You can definitely do this but will need to flush out the soil monthly to reduce the build up. To make life easier I'm just using the manufacturer's (5ml per litre) dosage now 🙂
@@indoorplanthings awesome! Thank you for your advice. Best of luck to your new channel 🙏
Does it apply to all crawling philos?
I don't have any other crawling philos to test that. I might have to get one and see 😏
Wow, mine have potentiel to produce bigger leaves
Your "background music over powers whatever you were saying, it was alittle too loud :(
