You’re wrong my guy. MJW can fight at a high level for real. His skills have been praised by several UFC/Mma fighters. Jon Jones, Francis Ngannou, Sean Strickland, coaches Dewy Cooper and Eric Nicksick, Bi Nguyen, Chris Curtis, most of the fighters at Xtreme Cotour and others. MJW has an incredible depth of martial arts knowledge and skills.

Mjw used to do training camps with world championship boxers like Frankie Liles for training camp. He obviously knows the difference. Rampage wouldn’t have said what he did about mjw at the start if mjw didn’t know a thing or two.
Basically he connected on a few shots in a light sparring session. He’s making it sound cooler than it is, but I believe it. MJW is fast, and he has exceptional technique, and has a tricky/funky style with deception on his strikes. Like MVP he comes from a point fighting/competition background and is going to be different than an mma fighter in terms of distance control and strikes in the blitz. That being said, by no means would he beat bones in a fight, and he admitted if there was grappling involved he would have a problem.

In sparring, he is happy to do Karate with a Karate master, a learn new tricks, even if he has to get his arse kicked for it. He said himself that he gets dominated and tapped out all the time in training. He wants to learn more. He who accepts to lose in training never loses in the cage, where it really matters.

I used to have a lotta respect for MJW. But the more interviews and podcasts I see him on, the more that respect fades away. Everything from disrespecting BL, to disrespecting the cast of Expendables, to everytime he talks about a fight or sparring match he's had he comes off so arrogant like he's so much better than everyone and he's untouchable, I mean...UGH. He said he wouldn’t get away with the moves he popped Jon Jones with a second time because the only reason they succeeded was because Jones had never seen those moves before.

Seriously, every single podcast he's been on where he talks about sparring guys, he always makes it out to sound like NO one can touch him. JCVD, Bruce Lee, Michael Bisping, Jon Jones, even the cast of Expendables which had some real legit fighters as well. Go watch those interviews and you'll start to see what I'm talking about. The dudes cocky af and has no real evidence to back it up other than being super buff.

Sparring could be anything you want it to be.It could be a death match depending on who's sparring.
I'm really interested in these sparring videos. MJW from what I have seen has done some light sparring and in some cases just play fighting. Then he goes around saying he's trained with all all these elite champions and showed them a thing or two. I think if I remember right he even said his striking is better than most ufc champions. Or something along those lines.

I have never heard Jones described as ' one of the best strikers in the history of MMA ', he is creative, uses quite a lote of techniques and has a great killer instinct, but he is not even in the top 10 best active strikers in the UFC.

He was incredibly reserved with his wording and even got nervous when Bear confirmed what he said. He did everything possible to not say he would be able to fight Jon. He has a lifetime of different martial arts training and thought he could help. Jon is respectful enough to listen and learn even if it is something he already knows. Mike literally talked about a dream come true when he had the privilege of training with Jon. Grow up people. One thing Jon Jones is highly vulnerable to is leg kicks, the last person to really attack them was Domnick Reyes and he had a huge amount of success against bones, some even thought it had it 3 to 2 with it taking the championship rounds for bones to edge out the decision...I think whoever fights bones will need to attack his legs early on and just keep laying them into the calfs by round 2 bones is going to be in serious trouble with those toothpick legs...
