This was my final flight out of Kansas City’s old terminal and it was a bittersweet moment. As much as I was ready for the new terminal, it was sad knowing this was the last time I’d ever fly out of a building that had been the beginning of many trips 😢. If you want to see the new terminal you can watch this video here: czcams.com/video/1fE6OOGfV5o/video.html

WOWOWOWOW!!! Good views taking off and also coming into JFK. Good view of the Long Island Sound, New Rochelle, Orchard Beach, City Island, Hart Island and of Great Neck. Good view of Fire Siland. Very good view of Coney Island. Good view of the light rail train line to JFK.
Yes, I'll miss the old terminal building at MCI too. Back in 1994, I was the first family member to arrive at MCI for our X-Mas get together, and I had to wait 6 hours before the other members arrived, so I got to know MCI very well! I would look up which gate each family member would arrive at, and I would meet that person and corral them to where the rest of the family was.
Anyhow, time for me to rest up from the jet lag from watching this video. My GF and I are about to head out to the first Farmer's Market of the season (YAY!!).

The A220 design is starting to grow on me :) Although it's smaller than the A320 family, it looks a lot more sleeker and more aerodynamic. I wonder how the A220 compares with the new E-Jets E2 series.

So, I was one of the first people on the plane, and I try to get shots of the cabin without other people in them. So, I get the cabin shots as quickly as I can once I board. That said, this was a very light flight. There was probably only 30 people total once boarding had finished, and I think I was the only person on the plane behind the wing.
