Boosting Pressure in a Reverse Osmosis Water Filter

How do I boost pressure in a reverse osmosis system?
Installation guide for an electric booster pump retrokit kit (WECO FC-1400) onto a residential under the sink reverse osmosis (RO) water filtration system.

Can you use these if you have ZERO pressure because you're feeding the water from an open tank rather than from a pressurized water line?

From what i know. There are 2 types of pumps, the one with required inlet pressure (30 psi and above) and the one with self priming which necessary for 0 psi pressure.
