Thank you. I am also adding a uv to am iSpring six stage. This is exactly what I was looking for
Perfect! Aloha 🤙
Just added the same uv, thanks for the break down.
My pleasure...mine still working great. Aloha!🤙

FYI to others considering this uv model, it's compatible with other under-sink RO brands/units. I added it to a apec 5 stage (reos-50) 50 gpd under the sink type RO unit, with a 2.5 gallon bladder storage tank. Easy addition to the system for added protection.
Thanks
Mahalo to you!🤙
little tip for you, you do NOT need to remove the retaining blue ring for INSERTION, only for removal.
Keep the tips rolling in brother , it helps tremendously for me and others...mahalo 🤙
Thank you, very helpful. I have a six stage as well and have been considering adding the uv light.
You're welcome...I'm very pleased with the uv light addition...an extra srep of precaution 🤙
That was very helpful. Thank you
Thanks buddy, appreciate you tuning in!

Nice work. I used to vacation every year on Maui before I retired. Sure wish I could live there on the big island permanently. Best of luck to you!

Twice. Haa that's how you learn son. ...many thsnx moke uk
Indeed!🤙
Très intéressant, merci du partage.👍

I wonder if the remineralization filter should be the last one, because the UV light works best on demineralized water.
I accept what you said. But someone said some times the filters can emit a bacteria, I installed mine going to the tap. Some UV lights stay on, and some only turn when the water is flowing. For the UV that stays on the water will come out warm, so I add ice cubes if drinking.
How much does it cost for whole system to install?
AWSOME BACK YARD ENJOY
Aloha!🤙
Is this really improve the taste of RO?
What sucks is almost every under the sink outlet is used for a garbage disposal that is controlled by the switch by the sink which turns the entire outlet on off to control the garbage disposal. So plugging this UV filter into that outlet won't even work unless you want your garbage disposal on 24/7

Is there a way to augment this system to do a whole house filtration with the addition of a larger tank?
I've never seen anyone try to do more that just use it for drinking, and cooking water. I suppose it would be possible, but you would probably use a fair amount of filter changes to use it for entire household. 🤙
Yes there are whole house reverse osmosis systems but they cost multiple thousands. It is far cheaper to just do the drinking water. By the way from my long drawn out research the iSpring six stage system through Amazon is the best deal that I can find.
@@martyvanord984 spectrapure is another awesome quality brand.
Hi, I just installed a system like this, 7 stage, and notices that the water flow was clearly reduced when getting water from the fridge. Before it was a direct line and it had pretty good pressure, after the filtration system the flow was drastically reduced. Is this normal or did I do something wrong?
Impossible to say whether or not you did something wrong, however a slight drop in line pressure can be expected. The passive filter system requires an incoming line pressure from 45~65psi. If your beginning line pressure was at the lower end of the range the drop in pressure would be more noticeable. They make a pressure pump for the system if you decide you need greater line pressure (or volume…the pump also boosts output…up to the max rating for the system,~75gpd).
RO filters bacteria and viruses so for the OC this is how to sterilize sterile water : )
unless you sanitize your ro tank on a weekly basis you dont know whats growing inside of it.
You are probably correct and bottled water is RO. The companies that sell these systems do stop short of saying that they produce germ free and virus free water. The $100 to add this is not much and the up keep is not much. lol
