    This is awesome and great job on the install. It's hard to believe this peel and stick tile is actually made with actual stone! It looks thin so there shouldn't be any issues with the mounting of an overhead microwave. That was the major concern I had with using regular tiles. Any issues with heat from the range oven?

      They are still holding strong! My range doesn't have a wall with tile behind it so I can't say. But I do have a counter top oven and air fryer, and the tile behind these have not been affect at all. -Steph

      @@MotherDaughterProjectsDIY thanks so much for the quick response! You helped me decide to choose these tiles over the vinyl or plastic type of these stickon tiles. Thanks!

    Does it feel like stone when you touch it? Or does it feel more like plastic or vinyl? How is it when you clean, does it stain easy like most stone back splashes or does it clean easy without staining?

      It does feel like stone to the touch because it really is stone. I haven't had to clean it, but if you are worried about it staining there are seals you can get to protect the stone. I have not had any part stain. Hope that helps!

    Hi, I’m very interested in doing this project. I have a question does the glue attract ants or any bugs? My husband said it will during the summer.

      Hi Elsie, I have not had an issue with that at all. I'm in Florida so we have very hot summers and no ant issues. -Steph

    Did you recaulk at the end of it?

    • @MotherDaughterProjectsDIY
      @MotherDaughterProjectsDIY  Před 5 lety

      We didn't. With the backsplash in place, it didn't seem necessary. This has been installed about 3 years now, and I have not had any issues with water getting where the caulk used to be. -Steph
