Bryan Ferry and Robert Palmer were the smoothest any man could be in the 80s
When you can get David Gilmore to play this show with you, you're a well respected musician indeed. The Jealous Guy performance is even stronger!
The most stylish musician ever, Mr. Bryan Ferry.
I’m sorry to see so many here came only for David Gilmore.Bryan Ferry has long been one of the great singers of rock, and cultivated one of the best rock images.Simply put, very cool.
However he hasn't sold over 250 million albums like Dave Gilmour - The 3rd and 6th biggest selling albums of all time.
@@Davo-007Lemming.....
@kendallevans4079 No sorry its not Lemmy it's Bryan & Dave 😏
@@Davo-007Lemming: "One who blindly follows a group" You, in other words, and your blind worship of someone named "Gilmore", whoever the hell that is
@kendallevans4079 And my little joke shot right over your tiny little Pea Brain 😁
Bryan Ferry was the epitome of “80s cool”
Yeah, he's smooth man, cool like Benjamin Orr
He’s dead?
@@sketchyold still alive
Sorry, what's the meaning of epitome??

Bryan Ferry. - Slave to Love ❤️ (Live Aid 1985)
The man and that delightful voice just blows you away.
I’ve been a fan since the ‘60’s. He knows how to please his audience and fans.
He never fail’s to please 🙏 us.
Absolutely divine … Awesome.
What was he doing in the Sixties?
Man of day can't beat 80s old time music
Bryan Ferry and David Gilmour together a match made in heaven. Brilliant✌️
And, I'm pretty sure, Mr. Marcus Miller on bass.
David played on Boys and Girls and is your love strong enough
Dont forget these amazing musicians!
Brilliant tune, and two brilliant artists making wonderful music 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵
Bryan Ferry is amazing.
It still brings a band with Marcus Miller on Bass and David Gilmour on Guitars, total musicality!!

Let's not discount the legendary Andy Newmark on drums.
Did a double take and had to check the comments. Awesome solo...
Marcus Miller on bass
Don't forget Jon Carin on keys, this is where he and Dave Gilmour met.
So cool he warrants 2 microphones 😉
Saturday morning! Perfect
David Gilmour, ladies and gentlemen, on lead guitar.
Ah, and Brian Ferry singing.
Two legends on the stage at the same time. What a beautiful pairing.
Live Aid is the gift that keeps on giving to music lovers. What a legendary day. So many iconic superstars coming together for such a great cause.

Bryan voice is amazing he is so cool
I was 15 when Live Aid happened, I was glued to my TV from Tasmania, Australia, anticipating who would come on next. One superstar after another. Still watching it in 2023. Live Aid will never grow old. The 80's will never grow old
Canberra for me! I was 11.
1:07 The her hair it's perfect 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I listen to Bryan Ferry / Roxy Music every day & I never tire of these timeless songs 💕
The difference between now and before.... people remember only the good music
I could not remember one good / memorable song from august 2019 to now (august 2020)
Every generation has its share of sour old goats just like you who stopped appreciating ANY music that followed your own youth. Your grandparents and your parents probably hated the music that followed their own prime. And your kids and their kids will hate the music that followed their youth. Meanwhile, at nearly 60, I can appreciate the music that came after the 70's and 80's even if what followed wasn't my favorite.
The new garden album and The new Abnormal bruh
@@stefankrautz9048 the songs about Ed Sheran are beautiful... I recommend you listen to them!!
This is one of my highlights of Live aid. Byran ferry singing . Great song. 👍 Great looking man. Great arist.
A haunting track which was the epitome of the 80s, couple with the stunning guitar wizardry of Dave Gilmour
And a young Marcus Miller at the bass guitar 😉
Probably the best festival that ever existed
One night i dreamed that Hendrix played ad live Aid 😅✌️
@@napomania he would of if he didn’t die
Live aid was more of an event than a festival
Totally agree ❤
David Gilmour was top league. Pink Floyd legend. He complimented so many artists, gave each of them a bite of that Floydian pizza.
The King of Cool..... always was, still is, and always will be
I was there and he was singing just for me of course! ❤️
Infact this Concert was named : "In memory of Debby Leigh Tribute at Wembley Stadium of London" !
Debbie Leigh! Honestly?? Must have been really a rush, to say the least .. Love Bryan, since Roxy days♥️

For sure on of the best guitarists out there of that generation.
When the stars align to create the perfect 80s moment: Bryan Ferry, at Live Aid, singing this particular amazing song.
Man, I love this song!!
I loved this song as a teenager in the 80s... It's 2019 and I still love it! Awesome! Thank you, Bryan!
Me too
It’s amazing to think that a teenager could love a song like this. Nowadays that’s unimaginable.
Still have the original vinyl Boys and Girls. Me and the album shared a lot of good times 😌
How about in 2024?😊
Geez, David Gilmour did great here. Provided the heartbeat. Bryan gave it life.
You know what?i'm 27 and i'm still wondering how they made it without this freaking autotune. Only true legends i see here😏😏😏
The ultimate 80s sophisti-pop song. And one of the most influential.
That voice!....one of the most unique in popular music
"Slave To Love"
Tell her I'll be waiting in the usual place
With the tired and weary and there's no escape
To need a woman you've got to know
How the strong get weak and the rich get poor
Slave to love
Oho
Slave to love
You're running with me
Don't touch the ground
We're the restless hearted
Not the chained and bound
The sky is burning
A sea of flame
Though your world is changing
I will be the same
Slave to love
Oho
Slave to love
Slave to love (Nananana)
Oho (Nananana)
Slave to love
I can't escape
I'm a slave to love
The storm is breaking or so it seems
We're too young to reason, too grown up to dream
Now spring is turning your face to mine
I can hear your laughter, I can see your smile
Slave to love (Nananana)
Oho (Nananana)
Slave to love
I can't escape

David Gilmour on lead guitar, awesome!!
I can’t stop listening to this song , it really weird the melody is so soft gently
Champagne, top model, yacht, jacuzzi, soleil couchant ...
What a beautiful voice...and the rest of the band... Awsome!
Saw Roxy Music in Toronto in 2000 or 2001. Incredible voice.
I like this dude 😎, truly the epitome of cool; along with Paul Young and David Bowie... They were supreme talents but most of magnificent gentlemen!

First stage performance of Gilmour's Red Strat.
Dave Gilmour!
Poi col finale....
Gilmour! Wow! The original guitar was genius.
The difference between now and before.... people remember only the good music
David Gilmour on guitar?... It's a great honor!
Works great live as well!
It's an honor for David Gilmour to share the stage with the lounge lizard him self!! Roxy music is awesome!!
Master David Gilmour in addition to participating in Live Aid as lead guitarist for vocalist Bryan Ferry, he created the melodies of the song "Slave To Love" and subsequently the lyrics were composed by Bryan Ferry himself, in the Album that was officially released on Live Aid, in 1985 under the title "Boys And Girls", extraordinarily beautiful all this and more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny thing about that movie is that it was completed in 1984 but was released in 1986.
