- Astral Ascent is a 2D platformer rogue-lite game set in a modern fantasy world. As one of 4 Heroes with very different personalities, you must escape from the Garden, an astral prison guarded by 12 powerful and vicious bosses, the Zodiacs.
Zodiacs are hitless but I couldn't do the final boss. I had better attempts but I always ended up fumbling on the second phase. I hope it's still a decent showcase.

This game is insane. Got to destiny 6 almost in one sitting. The ophiuchus intro cutscene is just DAMN. Want more people to know about this game, it 100% deserves recognition.

I actually beat libra first time with my crit chance/damage build on the assassin and almost beat the master first try with her to I was... so close.

Probably the advanced version of Aries and Scorpio. Also the final boss

How do you get the true ending?
You need to beat all zodiacs on any difficulty and then win the game on Destiny level 6+

I thought cancer will be bald
I’m gonna be blunt. Some of these don’t make any sense. Sagittarius is an archer, Cancer is a crab, and what does Scorpio have to do with water? I get wanting to stand out and defy expectations, but this is ridiculous.

Scorpio is a Water Sign(this might not be common knowledge). Dunno why the other two don't make sense to you though - Sagittarius is the Centaur Archer and Cancer is literally the Sign of the Crab.

You have to have a little knowledge about signs "elements".
Fire: Aries, Sagittarius and Leo
Earth: Taurus, Virgo and Capricornus
Air: Geminy, Libra and Aquarius
Water: Cancer, Scorpius and Pisces
That's why each one has an element and the game put random between each of these three.
Otherwise, about Cancer being a crab... How could this work? Humanoid crab?
I agree with all the other comments, but honestly I don’t even think it matters. I enjoy the creativity and uniqueness of these bosses. Even though they’re named after zodiac signs they still have their own personalities that play into their fighting styles, abilities, and appearances. I’m happy they didn’t limit their creativity to fit into their zodiac “box” and even then I was able to guess who they represented just by their entry.
