Every boss that is either purely black or purely white has an opposite counterpart.

Unicorn-Phoenix
All other bosses either switch between the two (Ying-Yang, Adaptation, and Duality) or are something else entirely (Summum and the boss after that)

Nah, animations are good, but I didn't really saw too good fight mechanics in this video, and as new player I'd not buy that game.

@@nester7315 You should try the game. Has free demo on steam and xbox. There's more gameplay than you think based on this video.
It is a very mechanic heavy game, perfect timing, parries, counters, vulnerabilities, penalties for repeating actions similar to dmc, each action has speficic values and uses for each situation, etc.
If people say video games aren't art, I will show them this game. While others are more deserving of that title, with this design, it truly is a work of art.
Even the simplest of forms can be art in motion
People saying video games aren't art are utterly stupid.
Let them define what the art is then.
Of course not *all* games are art. Like not all movies, music, books, paintings etc.

no idea, I just think the artistic and gameplay direction of the game is very solid and interesting.
if I had to venture a guess based on the bosses in the video, it appears to be a story of the player character(s?) trying to free the astral plane from the control of the giant star-thing along with all the constellation-based creatures under its influence.

"Worldless is set in a newborn universe based on entities trapped in an eternal conflict by the polarising nature of their attractions. These interactions can result in an exchange of their polarities, but this process is very unstable, and who knows what new results can come from it…"

I got recommended this by youtube and thought "what the heck, i see what this is."
Why is this underrated.
The way we finish off Summum is just so frekkin epic. Made even better by the fact it becomes the final unlockable skill on the neutral part of the skill tree. Possibly even the final skill we acquire in general.

The art style is amazing.
Only watching Angel right now, and I'm already in love with this game! The fact that I've already essentially figured out the basic mechanics just from watching this so far, and thr favt you only get full silhouettes when attacking or being qttacked, it's just incredible!!!
It is an amazing game Angel is by far the funnest boss. Although I haven’t fought Summun yet
This game kinda reminds me of the myth of the Primordials and Evangelion. Especially the”Adaptation” boss I was getting some MAJOR Ramiel flashbacks. I like it.
Making time freeze for a split second whenever the player pulls off something cool is an insanely underused game design choice, and this game does it in SPADES. It makes every attack feel like it hits like a train.
The music is fire. It fits the ethereal atmosphere of this game.
I love how you can't really tell what you are looking at until it moves. Very interesting.

Wow. It's like I'm watching moving living constellations or shadows. And I love how you don't see their form until they strike or get hit. Very artsy.
so trying to piece this together as i watch…the game is a turned based combat game where on your turn your basically playing a fighting game where you try and rack up as much damage from combos and abilities before your turn is over,
and on the enemy phase, its a rhythm style parry game where you must react in accordance with the enemy with well timed button presses?

Lightning Nightmare is an appropriate name for that boss. I'm half-convinced its attacks are literally impossible to parry.

I’m hoping this game gets released on console it seems so good.
Even the fact with each hit or move they gain a form as opposed to theirs star form.

Man, I bought this game a week ago. And I absolutely ADORE the combat. It‘s difficult to learn but satisfying to master. The attacks hit like a f*cking TRUCK. And the enemies are (mostly) really really sick. I think my favorite enemy in the game is a small trial like thing where you literally have to do the daigo parry, an easier version of it but still. It‘s such a cool reference if you know and just a neat challenge if you don‘t.
One of the funnest games I played for the channel for sure!

I think the only boss albeit more like an encounter is LUCA. You fight him by unlocking all the lore tabs.

I feel like there's a lot of lore here that we aren't quite getting. What were those symbols that Ending was putting on screen? What did they mean? Who were these other bosses, and why were they fighting the protagonists? Who are the protagonists, and why are they questing around?

Probably the most unique game I’ve ever played. Had a lot of fun with this one, but I wish the game had one last area before the ending.
The game finishing so suddenly was kinda disappointing, despite the ending being really cool. Literally my only gripe.
I hope this game doesn’t stay underground forever. It should definitely be talked about more since it’s just so different from any other game I’ve seen! As of writing this, it only has about 350 reviews on Steam. That’s barely 1% of the attention I think it deserves.
