His logic is to use it partially to set up defence and attack,not use it the whole fight because you will get tired easily ,also not to use it to move back and forth all the time but stay in one place while doing the pendulum
Bivol has changed his pendulum and incorporated Western styles some, but he is still the Pendulum King, in my opinion.
