Should you use an open face or closed face helmet?

- New helmet, who dis? It was time to replace my old SA2010 closed face helmet, so I decided to consider an open face helmet this time. Join me as I try on both the open face and full face helmets from Pyrotect. What do you prefer, an open face or closed face helmet? Do I look like a dork with the open face helmet? Just realized when I went karting at K1 the other day -- one reason you might want to go with closed-face helmet is if you like to go karting and bring your own helmet, they may only allow closed-face helmets on track. Good thing I still have my old retired helmet which I brought for that purpose!

Are you using a Hans Device with these helmets?
I'm not, but I believe they are compatible with HANS if you want it. So far this year I've only done a few autocross events where HANS isn't really needed.
Instead of the Balaclava, do a search for motorcycle doo rags, I like these for all my helmets.

dafuq, lost my patience when you I realised you don't need a helmet, you need contact lenses 🤬
Not everyone wants to wear contacts or is comfortable wearing them. My eyes get dry and the contacts start to blur my vision while driving which is a safety issue. Why can't I choose to wear glasses instead?

@@86drive86 Yeah this guy definitely isn’t a pro because a pro wouldn’t talk like that haha. Your videos are good mate! I personally like the full face helmet more, I had a nasty crash once and I had debris hit the visor and face part, it saved my butt.
