And this should have been the first Binghamton based team to win a championship, which sadly didn't happen that season though! At least the Sens got the town their elusive title in 2011, even if it still sucks they're long gone now too. 🙁
They should come back
@@godzilla.-.2019 Yeah, and they surely can't do any worse in Binghamton, where they were 100% loved, and adored too! That unlike Hartford, what with the fans there never embracing the Wolfpack (formerly B-Rangers), after the Whalers ditched them in 97 too.
@@freakyfornash They would rather have the Whalers back.
@@elithewolf2250 Right, which was why Hartford has never truly embraced the Wolfpack ever since the Whalers left. Binghamton also didn't take it very well when they got demoted to the UHL with the Icemen from the late 90's to the early 2000's after the B-Rangers skipped town. But I must admit I was pretty impressed when I went to go see the Black Bears, and when the games which I attended (including the first playoff game) were both rocking, and very well attended. Some B-Sens games I went to back in the day weren't even that lively, as hard as that was to believe as well!
@@freakyfornash Yeah and I believe the Binghamton Rangers horn was carried over to Hartford at the Civic Center when they became the Wolfpack. But in the early years of the Binghamton Senators, did they use a recording?
Gary “totally not part of the Wolf Pack” Glitter
