Not exactly. They have used different goal songs over the years. They brought this song back as their goal song in the 2022-2023 Season but with a different siren though.

it’s been a year since i have seen ur vids. here’s my recap ur first vid i saw was one of the islanders goal horn. my fav vid u made was the canadiens 1990 goal siren, and the Blackhawks 1986-87 goal horn. the vid that almost made me switch allegiances was the 2003 coyotes preseason goal horn i think. was playing the song over and over cuz of the song. still a hawks fan. glad u were there when i searched the islanders goal horn.

That is true, plus the horn was alot louder in the old Winnipeg Arena due to the shape of the bowls in the arena and the size of the arena. Plus it was alot bigger too compared to MTS Centre/ Canada Life Centre.

I went to games at the old Great Western Forum--that siren was definitely featured, but I don't recall the horn. They later sounded something like a fog horn, which carried over to Staples Center until they adopted the current horn.
The horn that was at the forum from 1996-1999 was a real horn. The one they used at Staples Center from 1999-2007 was a recording of the forum horn.
Also hey did use a firetruck horn too from the early to mid 90's till they got that S203C horn in 1996.
Keep in mind they only used the submarine dive horn recording this season
