Recipe:
Pho Spice:
10-12 star anise
a few sticks of cinnamon
2 tbsp coriander seed
2 tbsp fennel seeds
1 tbsp cloves
2 cardamom pods
5 beef ribs or any kind of bone
1.5 lb of chuck roast
1 bag of beef meatball
2 thumbs of ginger
1 sweet onion
2 stalk of lemongrass
1/2 cup fish sauce or to taste
1-2 disk of palm sugar (white or rock sugar)
optional: beef pho seasoning packet or bullion.
For garnishing:
Green onion, cilantro, bean sprouts, and basil.
My instant pot is an 8 quart pot.

I am not sure what you mean by spicy pho noodles. Do you mean Bun Bo Hue which is a spicy Vietnamese noodle soup?
You are supposed to par boil the meat for 5 minutes and then drain and wash the pot. Rinse the meat off before putting it back into the pot. Then add clean water and proceed the way she says. Doing this hives you a clear clean broth. 😊

Definitely parboil the meat to get all the impurities to get a clear and cleaner broth.
The cuts of meat she used are normally just cleaned and cooked. Barbeque ribs and pot roast are not paraboiled. No impurities just darker soup.

I don't believe you know how to make this at all! Your method will result in a cloudy and smelly broth and not the authentic and desired clear and clean tasting broth!
