Listening again today and coming back to say I JUST LOVE THE SPRING SECTION SO MUCH. Like yes, whole video is amazing, but this part is just at another level with stellar transitions one after the other, plus the music just fills me with so much joy!!!!!

Oh my friend, this was three hours of pure joy to listen to. I think it has to be my favorite thing you've made and will be hard to unseat. I am so honored and happy that I got to help you categorize the music seasonally, but coming up with the exact order and honing the transitions? WOW, that was all you and done so brilliantly!!!!! Seamless transitions are one of my most favorite details in music, and I am in awe of the good musical instincts and fine-tuned ear you demonstrated with this. I thought I was going to timestamp my favorite transitions, but I can't because there ended up being SO MANY that made my jaw drop or my eyes widen in pleasant shock or my body lunge toward the screen in excitement, this comment would be too long. So I guess all I can do is just keep listening again and again! I'm just so happy this video exists.

Oooo it could be that some of the tracks are either from the newest games (Midnight in Salem or Mystery of the Seven Keys) OR there are just a few, maybe even only a couple, that are from the official Kevin Manthei soundtracks that vary from what’s in the game. Specifically, Haunted of Castle Malloy and Danger on Deception Island! His versions are a bit more classical and soundtrack-y, where as in the game, I believe they cut some of the intro of it or it was changed a bit. 🤔 But I love his uncut versions! They are so full and beautiful!
@@carterplaysyt the Danger on Deception Island definitely stuck out to me. The “dirge” track in the main game doesn’t have bagpipes and that’s where I went, “hello?” A variation of one of my favorite ND tracks? And it’s good? Yes, please!
@@Cometstarlight YES, exactly this!! When i first heard his version of “Mystery” from DDI… oh my gosh, I about melted. It has a beautiful and stellar introduction before the piano chimes in. 🥹 Also one of my fave games/soundtracks too!! 🐋
