Wat leuk omdit oude vertrouwde geluid weer te horen. Als ik het goed heb is dit het orgel uit de voormalige Westduinkerk in Den Haag. Iedere zondag een feest! We wonen al jaren niet meer in Den Haag en die mooie kerk is intussen gesloopt, Was ook een staaltje van architectuur begin van de eeuw. Wat een herinneringen!

What a visual as well as auditory outstanding presentation! Notice at 1:28:38 to 1:28:40 Gert's left hand pulls stops both from the right and left as he keeps playing.Then watch and listen as the left hand immediately plays a wonderful passage at 1:28:52 to 1:28:56, all of this on an instrument with an exceedingly heavy touch, using couplers. Bravo!

Mooi concert! Het harde werken heeft als voordeel een geconcentreerde blik.. Dat ligt me toch meer dan de gelukzalige smile (a la Martin Mans) tijdens het spelen. Eigelijk was ik daardoor al afgehaakt met kijken naar de videos.

I'll say it because no one else will. Dear Gert, you need to teach French organists have to improvise. They ruin their concerts with a meaningless mass of notes at the end. You are the best!!!
