- A clearing project that I did for White Oak Construction here in Tallahassee, Fl. Mr. Stokes is the land owner and is going to build a beautiful home there so I did all of the clearing and rough site prep for the new construction. Using a Bobcat E85 and a John Deere 450K.

Great job running the mini excavator
Lot looks awesome great job
Really enjoyed watching the excavator clearing trees and stacking them so efficiently using that pincher blade grappler. I guess the local government doesn't allow you to burn the trash limbs. Hauling off all that debris adds a lot of cost to a job. Perhaps time was a factor. When we logged our farm I burned many of the limb piles after they aged 30 days. One of the big piles I left to grow up into a marvelous habitat for deer, rabbits and quail. Now we enjoy seeing all these critters most everyday as we never hunt them or allow others to hunt them. We have witnessed many births of twin fawns and once triplets. I still have about 11 acres to clear. I never considered an excavator. On the other hand the cost to clear this Homesite must have been many thousands of dollars. No one in my area would consider that kind of extravaganze to clear land. Every now and then I see someone spend lavasly to construct a nice pond.
Great video
I can't get enough of this guys videos your amazing keep it up
Just found your channel, subscribed, and then realized you haven’t posted in 7 months. Your videos are great. Hope all is well and you get back to uploading your work. I’ll be on the lookout!

@@TheToddfamily awesome! That’s great to hear. Looking forward to it!
Lots goes into creating a house pad out of a wooded area. Thanks for showing all the steps
Great work. Stuck in the pipeline life wish I could go full time on my own like you have here. I do side work but make too much money for the family with pipeline and can't risk a chance. Maybe when I get closer to retirement. Business is hard but you have something to be proud of.
Time laps was cool, fun to watch thanks for sharing
That 6.7 is 😍!
Awesome content, thanks for sharing, awesome to have the power of an excavator to take tree's down
with that soundtrack...we stormed the gates of Mordor 10x in our E85's
That heavy rain sure helped getting those stumps out
Are you self taught? I am a Lineman, work for the local utility. But do landscaping/pools on the weekend. I have a john deere 27d, looking to get a skidsteer around june. Really enjoy your channel.

Trick is learn operation of equipment without tearing equipment all to pieces. I ran into rocks before D-11 R only move it maybe 1/8 ".
Good job
Keep making videos
About to do this in Wakulla
Nice! It’s so much fun to see the progress. Wakulla is nice because of the more sandy soil!
This will be our first time ever doing it so we are going to give it a try. @@TheToddfamily
Nice
Nice work bro
Where did you go?The EPA caught up with you?
Just curious, what’s this cost to do ? Do you charge by the hour or acre ?
also curious
How much does a job of this scale cost? Does the general contractor hire the guy who takes the full logs?
Where do you dispose of all the stumps lol
Usually go to construction and demolition landfill. All brush and stumps are eventually fed through a horizontal or tub grinder.
How does your f450 feel when you’re pulling that e85?
When will you make more videos ?
Who came because of Darrius Anderson
Awesome video. I subscribed. 🔔my way lol.
What happened with the excavating company ? Do you have a new channel ?
I'm waiting for your giveaway result bro
if i went into the clearing biz, would you recommend mulching, dozing, or excavator style clearing? Im in South Fl
I’m trying to figure out how you made any money paying all those dump fees. I’m in Michigan I wish we had pine forests all hard woods in these sticks. 6-8” hickory on the stump will pull my cat 320 around.
Been there done that before.
Who’s been subscribe to this channel since the first video me 😝
Came from darrius
Whats the biggest job you were able to do by yourself?
@@TheToddfamily awesome! How long did that take you to clear and burn?

Is it hard to control a bulldozer?
Learning to run 1 & being able operate 1 is 2 different things. I seen people you just can't teach to operate equipment. Coming from 37 year experienced on some biggest equipment on planet earth as starting out as a Equipment operator to Day shift Mine Foreman about every job in between. Before I retired I still was learning something new about every day. I lost on ice 300 loaded ton rock tks slide clear bottom hill doing few donuts all the way down did that a couple times Hit hidden logs on D-10 dozers slide clear bottom hill. Been covered up by blast went wrong. I was in engine compartment of elect. shovel that time working on it, A steel I beam saved me from huge Boulder, I was covered in dust, rock but not 1 scratch. Had big boulder fall from highwall right where I standing only minute ago during ice & thaw yearly cycle. My luck was running out. 37 years was enough. Personally I like Cat equipment we appear had better luck with them than any others. Plus extra clean moisture free good Diesel Fuel is very important. Maintenance by the book helps a lot. Plus real good operators worth there weight in gold, Get job done without tearing up your equipment. Plus safety important too. Like what this guy doing I seen them trees snap & fall back upon cab of equipment more than a few times.
How much was the e85
Dude blows an operator lol
If he is charging you 70 cyd per load for that truck, you are getting ripped off! That truck is capable of 32 cyd at the most. Don’t believe me, measure it.
@@TheToddfamily
At 50 CYD/load billing, owners are getting ripped off. It’s up to the PM to be honest, and owners to verify if paying hub the CYD. Been in the business since 1986.
Don’t believe me? Just flatten top of average load and measure it. Most contractors think their truck is like their dick and is way bigger than they really are.
Hi bro GoPro giveaway result bro
