Chris, I have followed you for a long time and this is the first time commenting on your channel. I have enjoyed watching your videos. My Brother-in-law has grown a 3+ million dollar excavating business in Canada doing every imaginable type of job possible. The work you guys do is an art that requires pride of ownership, skill and customer satisfaction. You definitely have a calling for moving the landscape. Great work and videos.
I’d love to see Chris show up for the excavator “operation” game at Dirt Perfect’s channel! If you haven’t seen it...imagine the children’s game “Operation” but using an excavator to pull the pieces without triggering the buzzer!
Zeta was no joke in Alabama. I lost one tree on my property. As luck would have it it fell over my electrical service, ripping everything off the house. Finally got it repaired and hopefully the electrical company can reconnect me tomorrow. Thankfully I had a whole house generator installed when we but the house and it has been working overtime:)
I watched one of you old videos just the other day with the Daewoo in it. I thought man that’s been a long time ago! Been following you a long time man. Watched you grow into one hell of a operator! I know your family is super proud of you. I know I’ve enjoyed being along for the ride!
The landfill here they actually put pipes into the fill to bleed off the methane gas that is formed when the biomass decomposes, the gas is pumped to a power plant.
Just got notification of this video at 10 pm ( our time in this part of the world). “ Eire” .....anyway I saving this video to watch in the morning when I’ll be having my croissants and coffee........my favorite time of day .........Thankyou for this .....Keep up the good work . Brendan H
Chris the last part of your video really shows how your bucket and thumb basically eats trees, totally amazing. You really know what you’re doing! Thanks for sharing. Kevin
Nice to see you can still work in t-shirt. We had 32 degrees in Clarksburg, WV this morning. Back in the 70s this weekend. Great job on resetting that wooden stake. Just great skill.
Thanks for showing the landfill. I was curious how you opened the tailgate to dump those full loads of tree debris. And what they do with all your loads. Thanks for taking us along to work with you everyday!
Great video Chris it shows how good of a operator you are when you took your bucket and pick that steak up and put it back in the ground without getting off of your machine but anyway brother you and John and yawls families y’all stay safe and keep the videos coming
In the market for land clearing in San Tan Valley? Look no further than LWD Excavating LLC! They did an amazing job prepping our lot for our new build. They were professional, efficient, and left the site clean and ready for the next phase. Highly recommend them if you're starting a new project in the area!
The Army missed out on you for flight school. You’d have made a great helicopter pilot. I should know. I am a former aviator and graduate of Ft Rucker. Putting that corner stake back was fun to watch.
I have three questions. 1. Why does John always get out of the dump truck? 2. Why do you always look to the left when driving the excavator? 3. When are y'all going to get another Timmy?
I dunno why he does it specifically, but I'll get out of my truck if someone else is loading me just to not sit so much. It's not super healthy, sitting all day.
Thanks for the explanation as to why the wood is not mulched. Sounds that it is the most cost effective way to clear a lot, of the pistol/stick pines. Sure seems that there is away to recycle material. Thanks for the tour through the land dump site. Pushing that stake in, after it came out of the ground was sure a majestic trick. One for the books. No one else could have done that.
I've seen the results of someone mulching a house lot. All the shredded chips and chunks don't rot in minutes. Takes several years actually, and it isn't pretty to look at for a yard. As Chris stated, you still have to have someone dig out the stumps, or deal with all the regrowth from them, then there is the issue of some amount of shredded material being buried under the dirt on the house pad. Mulching has its place but on a house site isn't one.
This might sound sad but I don't care.. I live in uk don't work in construction but find the videos Chris puts up relaxing. Watched hours and hours of them during lock down.... 6 months for me... And watch them all now. Where's Timmy gone ???? Just love his southern accent on the comentery. Thanks for keeping me sane..😁
Been a subscriber long enough to remember the old Daewoo. I think the first video I saw was you dredging, and I was amazed at how you picked up the mats and moved them. You were on the good old 210. Hadn't seen a machine with a thumb before until that video.
Good One, Only Chris could replant a hand stake with a bucket, Nice landfill, thats the typical place without proper maintenance is a misery for holes in Tires, my family was in the roofing buisness for 30 some odd years.
I remember seeing you operate a track loader spreading dirt. Have you ever considered using one to clear land with? I own and operate a 973c, and it's surprising how much and how quickly it can get the job done. I do understand most clearings i've seen you do are all being loaded out, that definitely where the excavator comes into play more. But in the clearing aspect have you considered it?
That may be true. A chain saw is $400. An excavator is a tad bit more expensive. However, even though a chainsaw is inexpensive, the plant material and the stumps have to be removed.
Just curious ,the density of the pines made think of a problem a friend has , have you any experience with removing a large area of bamboo . Enjoyed the video .
Doing great Chris! That’s a good few trees you have taken down. Don’t see the point of chipping and mulching!! Nice to see where you dump it. Do you have to pay to dump it at the landfill? I know most places here in the UK they charge you to use the landfill. Take care and be safe buddy. Love Winston! Best Regards Graham🇬🇧🇬🇧🌲🌲🌲🌲
Skill Son !! I mean skill !! putting that stake right back in place, and with that Big Ass Bucket !! lololol....Hell of an Operator you are Chris !! You keep Ol' Unk jumpin' too don't ya ...lol... Looked like a 1000 or so of those little Pines in that lot, that was quite a bit to load out...Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening.....On to the Next !!
Chris, your Volvosaurus sure loves chomping on those pine toothpicks. Too bad your not burning those. All those little pines would make one heck of a fire for Karen to freak out on. 😂😳😂
What machine do you find to be all-around more useful for clearing: the EC160 or the EC220? Do you often find yourself in the 160 wishing you were in the 220?
Chris, that was a lot of toothpicks you went thru. On a different note, I need to get your insurance info. I am in need of therapy. I found myself picking up sticks and twigs in the yard this morning using a hand operated grabber, I would pick up one and lay it next to another one and then get one more, then I would pick up all 3 to make sure I had a full “grapple “ load.
I rented an e42 bobcat for 7 days, I have two days left. I can't even imagine the difference between this Volvo and the bobcat lol. I'm in a field of friggin some crazy vine. I'll be posting a video at some point when I'm done with the machine
Nice job Chris. 😀wonder why they wont just burn it and then bury it.would be a Lot more efficient that way i would think .Nice Big truck loads going out of there .stay safe and nice video😀
Hey Chris I enjoy watching and learning new things.had a ? I see that you do a lot of tree cleaning have you ever thought about getting a small tub grinder or chipper for your self instead of trucking it out ? Just had a thought keep up the good work and enjoy watching your videos
Hey Chris you have most like said it in an other video but does John do the bidding for most of the job that you guys do, are you part of that as well, or do you guys have an on staff estimator. Not asking you to give away all your secrets are most of your jobs by the hour or done off of flat fees. 1 last question where does all the mud go from the dredging jobs you guys do as well. Thanks again for all the videos and keep up the exelent work.
We have a biomass plant not too far from where I live. You should see if there's one anywhere near where you live. They would probably take that brush in.
What kind of license do you need to operate one of those? Im obsessed with the idea of one day getting land and putting a nice landscaped house with a control tower roofer and viewing deck above overlooking the trees and i want to use those trees to build more cabins to rent out around the property but not too close too eachother. Jobs jist dont pay shit anymore so one can dream. Im just ready to get away from the city. Off grid somewhat with healthy food i grow but a modernized look with a less is more mentality. I'll be following you this is all very interesting.

It is a true that it takes someone that can see the end results before they get started.
Setting that stake was just showing off! Love your skill.
That was dang cool! Can you stir a cup of coffee with that machine? lol
Now you're just showing off with that stake 😏😉👍👍
I’d love to see Chris show up for the excavator “operation” game at Dirt Perfect’s channel! If you haven’t seen it...imagine the children’s game “Operation” but using an excavator to pull the pieces without triggering the buzzer!

@Dul Suas Ort Fein , being in England I often save Chris’ vids until the next day rather than stay up too late at night . 😀
Chris the last part of your video really shows how your bucket and thumb basically eats trees, totally amazing. You really know what you’re doing! Thanks for sharing. Kevin
You got a hammer to drive this stake. Chris: "No, all i got this huge excavator"
I bet he could open and light a zippo lighter with that too.
@@hillbillyb4u Probably 👍🏻
Lol exactly what I thought
@@hillbillyb4u I think I saw him light a BIC lighter once with his tracks.
That's just showing off for the camera, tbh...
Nice to see you can still work in t-shirt. We had 32 degrees in Clarksburg, WV this morning. Back in the 70s this weekend. Great job on resetting that wooden stake. Just great skill.
If it's like here in N. Virginia, they will mulch it at the Dump/Landfill. They recycle it into Top Soil. Takes years ,so it requires alot of land .
This is absolutely awesome. Thank you for all the helpful advice! Do you ever talk about pricing strategies?
Excellent video Chris, hugely interesting. Don’t know what it is that makes your operational finesse so damn mesmerizing.
Great stress reliever...
Like watching someone pull weeds, I love these machines.
Always a pleasure to watch a master at work....
The way you can finesse the bucket is down right amazing, putting the stake back in! Thank you for the videos.
I bet for lolz hes probably got footage of him balancing an egg on one. :D
Thanks for showing the landfill. I was curious how you opened the tailgate to dump those full loads of tree debris. And what they do with all your loads. Thanks for taking us along to work with you everyday!
Enjoyed the video bro, the trip to the landfill was the icing on top.
Thanks for looking out for us Chris!!! Great video as usual!
continue running the videos so we can see the work being done and show before\after pics. i love this channel.
Great video Chris it shows how good of a operator you are when you took your bucket and pick that steak up and put it back in the ground without getting off of your machine but anyway brother you and John and yawls families y’all stay safe and keep the videos coming
Ok ok, we all know you have mad skills no need to show off!! I can't even drive a stake with a hammer let alone and excavator LOL great video!

Thanks for looking out for us and raising the windshield lol. Love your vids
Nice work with that stake. nice light touch with all that Volvo power.
The Army missed out on you for flight school. You’d have made a great helicopter pilot. I should know. I am a former aviator and graduate of Ft Rucker. Putting that corner stake back was fun to watch.
Hi from England uk 🇬🇧, I love watching your blogs/videos. I've been watching for a long time 👍👌📱

Nice work Chris 🇺🇲 almost 500 thousand subscribers
working with the pines gives off a nice smell..
Takes a lot of patience to do this job. Probably several hundred of those small trees there. Nice work!!
We knew you wouldn’t be getting out of your Cab to place Survey Stake back in the Ground? 😬👍
Been a subscriber long enough to remember the old Daewoo. I think the first video I saw was you dredging, and I was amazed at how you picked up the mats and moved them. You were on the good old 210. Hadn't seen a machine with a thumb before until that video.

How was your Halloween? Nice you're back to work and show the world how NC guys working. ;-)
At about 16:50 in was pure amazing and professional.
Who broke the board on top of the truck bed. It can't be you, Mr. No Scratch. Love your videos.
Volvo should sponsor this channel.
I sorta enjoy watching you prove your abilities. Great job with the steak.
I've worked with some really good operators in my life and watching you put a stake in the ground with that size machine that's damn impressive
With as much brush as y’all haul have you ever considered a large grapple truck? Huge fan of your content. Keep it up.
I remember seeing you operate a track loader spreading dirt. Have you ever considered using one to clear land with? Would love to hear your thoughts in a video sometime as to the comparison between the new 160 and the old one. 4 cylinder vs 6 etc...
I have found your method seems to be much faster than a chainsaw , and somehow pleasantly pleasing to observe .. great job again . Thanks
That may be true. A chain saw is $400. An excavator is a tad bit more expensive. However, even though a chainsaw is inexpensive, the plant material and the stumps have to be removed.
I love your videos keep it up you will reach your goal of 1 million
Always wondered if it was a problem getting the load to come out of the dump truck. Well you answered that question....
The crackle of the wood is such a cool sound
How do you determine how many loads you will get off a given area of land?
Can you even put the candles on the cake as you planted that stake? 😂😂🔝🔝
I was thinking the same, Mr Ricky. hahaha
@@donmiller358 😂😂😂 we aren't the only
Could those small pines be used for pulp???
Enjoyed wAtching
I find it satisfying watching trees go down and relaxing listening to the diesel engine running and hydraulic whining away lol
Just curious ,the density of the pines made think of a problem a friend has , have you any experience with removing a large area of bamboo . Enjoyed the video .
NICE JOB WELL DONE LIKE ALWAYS. SALUDOS.
Have you ever cleared the wrong trees or gone beyond the property lines while clearing lots?
What are they getting for a load of brush at the dump? It costs me around $25/yard to dump up here.
OMG! A Daewoo! Retro dig. The good old days right! BS, you can have em!
Where’s the new 160 been? Feel like I haven’t seen it in a video since around when you guys bought it.
I meant to ask the other day when I watch the Farn fencig video, how is the tree you transplanted from your childhood home doing?
Doing great Chris! That’s a good few trees you have taken down. Don’t see the point of chipping and mulching!! Nice to see where you dump it. Do you have to pay to dump it at the landfill? I know most places here in the UK they charge you to use the landfill.

Chris, your Volvosaurus sure loves chomping on those pine toothpicks. Too bad your not burning those. All those little pines would make one heck of a fire for Karen to freak out on. 😂😳😂
I'm with you Chris I would just take all those pines down. Just replant trees you want. God bless
Why was the brush trucked out on this one vs burning. Thanks in advance.
What machine do you find to be all-around more useful for clearing: the EC160 or the EC220? Do you often find yourself in the 160 wishing you were in the 220?
Great program Chris, do you know if theres in developement an anti jerking system for smoother operation
what kind of conifer trees are those
Chris, that was a lot of toothpicks you went thru. On a different note, I need to get your insurance info. I am in need of therapy. In my mind I was making/ hearing the sound of the hoe as it swings and moves back and forth as I would turn and then move up or back to the next ones.
Snap, crackle, CRUNCH ! 😁
When are you going put the new boards on
Did you already break the newly painted boards on the dump truck?
Bravo!!

Planting a stake, what's next? Putting together a LEGO set?

We got a lot of rain from Zeta on Friday but the worst of the wind was last night.
In ground like this how many acres can you finish a day. Just curious I’m going into the business
Hey Chris we miss some big old snakes om the channel. We all know how much you like them
As much as you’ve been Hauling brush lately, it might be time for you invest in a tractor & dump trailer

So what's the storey with trees. I don't imagine they were self sown, why would they be planted out and left to get so spindly?
They grew wild.
It's like watching you play a game of pickup sticks, but the sticks are 40' long😉
Put that stick back in the ground was awesome 👍
