Lets just say this, Minato died well before his prime, whereas Madara died well after his prime. If given the opportunity to live out his life, Minato with his natural born talents would have probably been significantly more powerful then we see him in the series and thus the odds of him defeating Madara would increase exponentially.

the advantage of being an uchiha, specially itachi and madara is during a fight they did not run out of options or techniques, they always have a counter. even forbidden jutsus or only a few uchihas know a certain technique, they execute it. that's why it's hard to fight against them.

I agree Minato would lose, but he died before we got to see him in his prime. He's pretty much the most talented shinobi in the series, or atleast he has the greatest potential of becoming the greatest.
The 3rd hokage claimed that Minato had surpassed him, and hes arguably the strongest of the hokage.
Again I do agree Minato loses 10/10 to Madara, but if Minato hadnt died and was able to reach his true prime he might have a better chance.

madara is lucky because he was born with that power it is in his veins. While on thr other hand minato have to protect the village that's why he used to much chakra before battling obito.. Imagine if they switch places. Same scenario same abilities and everything except minato can control the kyuubi and he is the one who is going to attack the konoha and madara/obito will defend. I dont think they might be able to do it. The only reason they mean a thing is that infact they can control the nine tails which is given to them by birth. Then with this being said. Your taking that out of context alive minato couldn't add a nature transformation to the rasengan and doesn't possess a jutsu anywhere near as powerful as the rasenshuriken, but naruto displayed minato level talent when he mastered that jutsu, naruto surpassed minato when it came to destructive capabilities and the rasengan and senjutsu during the pain arc, minato has a massive rasengan at best like jiraiya lool

The speed comparison between Guy kicking off the air to Minato's flying raijin, is a speed reduction. I say that because sound which affect air is slower than light and Minato had to see that happen,react to it, jump there ,take contact, jump back again, to negate the truthseekers. That speed feat is damn near instant. I'll even take note that he was the only one moving in between Madara and Guy because he turns his body in that instant.

Also, if Minato's sealing jutsu could seal Madara, then there's way Minato could win. Additionally, if Minato is fighting Valley of the End Madara, he might even be able to seal Kurama inside himself and gain Kurama's assistance against Madara in the same way Naruto did. Though most instances of Minato vs Madara require Headcanon for Minato to win.

In their battles, Hashirama was always trying to subdue Madara, whereas Madara was outright trying to kill him. Madara + Perfect Kyuubi was no match for Hashirama. And that trick you talked about? That shows the difference in their skill. It isn't easy to fool a shinobi like that, and yet Hashirama managed to do that. Hashirama was a prodigy that Madara was never really able to catch up to.

The dude was constantly using his Ms/EMS and u know that alone is a drain, plus using heavy ass techniques that require imaginable amounts of chakra while hashirama was collecting natural energy to heal and enhanced most of his techniques... One big point of this match is that. Madara live and die and have a lot of experience under his belt while Minato is a premature character. What I mean by premature is that his character first was young, probably did not learn a lot of techniques as Hokage, probably he was not on his prime, and probably he did not study enough Uzumaki seals. So he did not have time to explode his potential do to his early death.
I always thought of it as Minato having near light speed reaction speed but low on durability and stamina ( compared to late game character progression)... I believe Minato was most likely the best assassin in naruto, cause when I remember his 3 ninja war feats It seemed like he used flying rajin to poke enemies in the neck mostly. Even when he fought A he decided to focus on easier take downs than prove is strength. Over all he mini maxed for efficiency never having to deal with biju hacks on a quarterly basis

You can't just be a jinjuriki without large chakra pool, you need huge chakra to keep the beast as explained by kushina.
Same for sage mode, you need enormous amount of chakra, not just large, but enormous, as explained by the frog.
He was with the other kage to create barrier to suppress 10 tails.
Before he fought Obito, he was helping to suppress kushina's tailed beast, probably took care of the barrier as well, then when he engaged with Obito he summoned gamabunta and was teleporting huge sized bijudama, and still got chakra to summon the reaper, perform jutsu to seal kyubi, and pass some of his chakra to Naruto.

Minato arrived and defeated the remaining 50 essentially thwarting that invasion force. This is often taken out of context of Minato killing all 1,000 shinobi, but he was credited with stopping the invasion force (of which 50 remained and would’ve succeeded had he not intervened).

Imagine if Minato lived upto his 40s. Dude would've developed Super Crazy Speed Hax abilities or something considering he was born a Peerless Genius according to Jiraiya. Jiraiya met a lot of crazy people including Rinnegan Nagato, Itachi, Kakashi, Sasuke and Naruto.
I feel like Hashirama was always holding back when he fought madara. He waited till madara awakened his perfect susanoo to actually try and that's when he brought out his wooden golem and dragon, when he could've pulled it out in the first few fights they had and he would've killed him a while ago. He really tried to save his friend. Why does hashirama undo his 1000 arms summon after sealing and stopping the susanoo cloaked kyubi he could've literally ended him there but decided to grab a sword to finish him.
The 1000 arms summon is so huge that the wooden golem just sits in its head like a crown and comparable size to kurama.
Hashirama's resolve towards Madara somewhat mirrors Naruto's, towards Sasuke

Granted when get got revived, Madara had sage mode from hashirama cells he had, but it’s still crazy to me that all we learned about the series is If you want uchiha strength, you need uchiha eyes, but for Madara his will power alone was able to replicate a MS ability.

Yeah base minato gets rekt. However sage or kcm minato might have a chance. One thing that's often overlooked about minato is his battle IQ. He had the highest scores in history in the chunin exams and in the few battles we saw of him, he was consistently outsmarting his opponents. My favorite argument about this is the fact that it took minato roughly 30 seconds to figure out and counter kamui, while it took kakashi (who's considered to be a genius) multiple battles with Obito and the other freaking kamui eye. Madara is smart himself, but I'd argue minatos intellect is on another level.
