Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Wow I’m going to play trailmakers in a sec and I want to build something like this with hing suspension also I know how to fix the hand beak you can make the pistons super slow and the should do it ;)

Scat means fecal matter. Optic is basically vision.
Name seems to mean 'look crap' which exactly matches what we saw in aesthetics, color and function.
So, it was perfectly named at least.
Skatole makes poop smell poopy. In very dilute conditions it smells like roses.
I came to a similar conclusion animal faecal droppings is scat. and Optacore as in Helicopter as in its a Bad helicopter and fly's like poo

He usually does multiplayer trail makers on days that start with a t so scrap mechanic multiplayer Mondays don't get disrupted. However with Kan and Cosmo's co-op survival series a looooooot of time is put into each video so it's likely that will need to end before it comes back

Today, I saw a creation on the workshop called "Banana" and it was just two yellow, angled pipe pieces in a banana shape. You can't get much more perfect than that, tbh

idea: everyone make a ufo [ a flyer of whatever type] and a anti air turret 1 or 2 people protect a base with turrets and the ufo(s) have to destroy it (according to how powerful you let each be )

We need Scrapman to build his own skatopticor! The concept seems really fun! Even though we saw a “perfect” one in this episode, I would love to see a *working* one! LOL
I wish you would do more multiplayer trailmakers challenges. The interactions are much better than some other games
12:10 pilots use vertical targeting to help in turn fighting during a dog fight and you could counter people without them with nose positioning but yeah that’s that
17:15 I think the skatopticore was misused
I think it was supposed to be used on the dirt so that the wheels don't properly grip it, letting it spin pretty fast until you take off. Which would have some rotational stability.
the landing with the helicopter was a 9/10

Multiplayer Monday idea: Build a glass car and drive it around a circut. While the others are able to use there spudguns to disable your car. Whoever does the most laps is the winner

On the perfect car the things on the sides you can control might be for slowing down because in some race cars they were built with the spoiler to move for more wind resistance to slow down

I think landing is an important part of an assessment in regard to "Perfect Flying". Could be the most controllable aircraft in the world if you can't land it it's useless. Hence why the Osprey is such a versatile aircraft.

the "perfect" helicopter is actualy really close to being truly perfect to me
the detachable blocks make the game think the creation broke which is why it said the perfect pancake flyer broke
