I wonder why Tsurite (Lifting hand) hand's elbow is placed under uke's elbow, instead of under uke's armpit like some other videos suggested. Is it because that way your elbow will be safer and the power will be stronger??

when I teach judo 7 years ago I explained that : isn’t important win you must fight did a Waza you didn’t be proud about a Koka (more time ago in the judo we had koka yuko wazari and ippon and 30 sec for osei-Komi ippon) Your target was the ippon always playing judo and not defense and take less shido than the opponents, the other master said : i you win you always take reason ? I don’t like this point - I think judo is judo not ju-sport! This explanation was amazing and teach the right making of kuzushi and tsukuri on te-waza : no strength but mind and waza in the right sense, I love it!
