This was quality, continuity, editing and drone footage. You are a grafter mate
wow, thanks for the kind words!
I saw a picture of a Thai monk inside the pagoda who passed away many years ago! He’s one of Thai peoples’ favorite monks, and his name is Loung Porh Koon!🙏🙏🙏 He will always be missed and respected by Thai people, including me!
Thanks for your beautiful video!🙏
สวัสดีครับ🙏คุณคริส❤️🇹🇭
Personally I’ve never had a problem with dual pricing. I lived in York, North Yorkshire, and if you were a resident you could apply for a York card that got you into most museums free
Glad you finally made it to Pai & your parents got to see it too. I am the guy that thanked you for getting me through covid with your videos while being stuck in the USA for almost 3 years. I was on the motorcycle at the Mae Hia Market as you were just trying to leave. Thanks again & great video !
That is awesome!
I second that Bill, Chris kept us connected until we could come back last year ! Thank you Chris !
@@ravetilldawn I went to Pai 35 years ago - very different then😮

Really nice to know foreigners love to visit and live in Thailand as their home. I am a Thai person who live in Australia for 12 years and I am going back my home country in end of March for celebrations Thai New Year. Your video are amazing. Your English accent is easy to understand for Thai people. Keep doing your amazing job see you in Thailand and always welcome to our sweet home.
So nice
Once upon a time when my children were small (they are all adults now) they used to run free through pai. It was such a beautiful time in our lives. It's such a special place.
Your production skills are so enjoyable --- with your creative, skillfully-flow drone shots, cheerful commentary, and the greatest plus --- turning on your charming Mom and Dad!
Would love to visit Pai! Thanks for this window into Thailand :D
Welcome to Pai ❤
LOVE Pai! I’ll never forget visiting the waterfall by myself and a weathered looking Thai woman offered me men and ganja 😂 (I politely declined both) this was 2005. Pai is understated and one of the most beautiful places in Thailand
If paradise had a word it would be Pai. I was there in 2022 and will be back as many times as possible in my final years. Best part of Pai,the people.
Retired Working For You 'SO HIGH - OH SO HIGH' in this video - LOVE it!! Beautiful editing - so professional. 🤟🤟
wow, thanks a ton!
I was in Pai for the first time 1987. I loved it. Nearly no tourists.. Pure Thailand. The scenery is of course still wonderful, but otherwise it looks like every crowded tourist Hotspot in the world.
Thank you for such awesome clip, so glad that you chose to stay at Utopai and hoping to host you all again. The creek area will only get better, we are working hard on it!
I’m coming to Thailand in March, can’t wait and will be adding Pai to the itinerary 👍🏾☺️ it looks amazing
Thanks for the great content! I'm so happy I found your channel! It's helping me plan our trip to Thailand in April. So exciting!!😍❤
Welcome aboard!
I hope you can join Songkran Festival during 13-16 April.👍👍👍
One for my bucket list for sure. So beautiful and it looks truly amazing like you would imagine Thailand to be like.
This spot is definitely on my list, I love hot springs! Looks like just avoid the April-Sept period when it's cloudy and rainy. Keep 'em coming!
The filming in this video was epic ! Stands out from any of your other ones. Wow
Pai looks amazing. Added to my ever growing list of places to visit in Thailand!
That pagoda housed an image of Ajahn Maha Boowa who is one of the famous enlightened monks of Thailand.
Hi Chris. As I see you constantly improving, it inspires me. 6/2021 I started doing product presentation videos and although I don't have nearly your skills, seeing you getting better and better gives me hope that I too may become a great CZcamsr like you.
PAI has changed a lot. 20 years ago, it was more charming than now.
If you have time, I recommend you to go down to Khun Yaum and Mae Saraing. They are still close to original and more charming.
This is an amazing 👏 part of Thailand 🇹🇭...
The Smokin' Hot Springs are amazing 👏.
The bamboo walk, amazing, too.
That scenery in general is the best of all of Thailand 🇹🇭...
This is an area I would believe in for investment, if foreigners were allowed to own land in Thailand 🇹🇭 ❗️
while you are still up there, check out the landsplit in Pai. Pai is a lovely place and great atmosphere! Absolutely loved it
Finally!!!! CHRIS fantastic video + informative + fun. My 4th Thailand trip will be sooner than expected ❤️😋
Was here for songkran in 2018. It’s changed a lot. Used to be just backpackers and hippies. I did yoga at my resort for the first time it was good lol
Yes.. Thank you so much Khun Crish🙏
What a spectacular video , loved the drone and sunset shots .
Pai is a lovely spot. Spent New Years about years ago there. Found a craft beer bar on the main street and drank there all day, then found a fantastic stall that sold proper ribs. All these places that you've shown are really cool and people should for sure visit them. Pro tip, DO NOT come from Mae Hong Song, as that windy road is beyond brutal.
Yes, I recommend coming to Chiang Mai, the way is more comfortable.
it's a good thing to be able to take parents to travel with you. 🥰🥰🥰
Chris Duuuuuuude! I’m in Chiang Rai for the first time ever, sipping some Thai rice vodka and now you mention Pai!?! Who doesn’t love pie? I’m going to check how long it would take me to ride my motorcycle up there. Very cool video!
Awesome Chris! Great to see you enjoying some new experiences
Pai is a beautiful place. Would love to visit there again as there is so much more to see that I missed the last time. It must be so good to enjoy these experiences with your lovely parents 👍
been watching tons of video from pai..but this one..feels so special..i guest your ability to capture some beautiful moment with the scenery telling it all.. thanks a lot mr chris !
Thanks Chris and Co. Looks so relaxing

Thank you for the tip on Lemon Thyme Backyard. I found it this morning and enjoyed amazing coffee and pancakes
Wonderful!
Great to see your parents traveling with you. I imagine of dipping in the hot spring like you!
That was such a great video. The quality went way up in this one with the music and editing and prices. Very polished. Bravo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Super helpful, Chris! I’m headed to Pai in a few days for the first time, so the ido comes in handy. Can’t wait! Thanks!
This is on top of my list of TH places to visit next...nice video. And looking better and better TJ ❤
I was planning to visit Pai later this year, now I'll definitely check it out. p.s. I'm glad you came back to Thailand and raised your game on the video quality too, it's very much appreciated!
Love Pai! I was there in Nov 2019, and still it's on my re-visit bucket list!
A great video, again.Thanks
The drive there was wonderful. 762 curves and very scenic
PAI Looks magical!!! Those hot springs, Dope! Our next up north travel we will make sure to visit!
We were in Pai the same time you were. I thought I saw you racing through the walking street 55555. It happens to be one of our favorite places as well. Attendance there once per year is mandatory. Thanks for the videos. Keep up the good work
Been a few times!! Awesome!! Going back soon!!

Thankyou for information...I like the way you spend time together with your parents ...❤❤❤
Chris, You have a knack, rare talent for this vlogging, narrating. What a beautiful country and setting for Utopai AIRBNB. I would agree with you Chris, about chilling by the creek absolutely serene and lush. Your Dad's dinner looked scrumptious and Haley's banana dessert looked devine. I can see where you got your coloful and friendly personality from. Your mom seems like a hoot. God bless and ty for sharing your family and travels.

เยี่ยมยอด
My Pai Adventure#1: I rolled into Pai about 6/7 years ago in the front seat of a mini bus. I was wearing a money belt in which contained all my money and I.D., everything. It's uncomfortable for me to sit with the bag around my waist so I hooked it on the dash board in front of me. When I exited the vehicle I forgot it there. I ran around looking for the bus. I ran to the travel agent where we landed and told them I left my money belt on the bus. She made a few phone calls and said that the bus had left Pai. I was freaking out, I had no money, passport, nothing. Then 15 minutes later I saw the driver walking down the road holding up my money belt with a smile on his face. I ran up to him and gave him a big hug, I was too happy. I looked in the bag and everything was still there. I then tried to give him money but he refused. I forced it on him then he took it;;;big relief..
My Pai Adventure #2: I had rented a motor scooter a Yamaha 125, great little machine. It was the last hour I had it so I thought I would go for a ride to burn off the remaining fuel. I was going down the centre of the road trying to avoid people. Then I saw an old woman on a scooter pull out in front of me with a young child on the back. She was heading from the curb going across the street to the other side and didn't look. I let out a scream and dumped my bike just before we collided. Our wheels touched, they did a little circle then fell. I skidded my bare legs on the road. I then looked over at them, tried to stand up, my legs collapsed and I fell to the ground. There were some kind of medics standing at the side of the road, turns out I was smack dab in front of the Pai police station. The medics came over and asked if I wanted to go to the hospital, I replied no. Then they dressed my wounded knee.
The police came out and there was talk of me speeding and I told them what happened. Then an old fella showed up and hit me in the back of my head in front of the police. The police asked me if I wanted to charge him, I said no, I just want to get out of here. Then a younger guy showed up giving me some really dirty looks, then we all went inside of the police station. Thank God it was on video, the whole bloody mess. We all watched as I clearly dumped my bike and they did a little circle and fell unhurt. I was so hurt I was having leg convulsions in the police station and had to stand and walk every few minutes, they all saw I was in great pain. Then they said I could go. When I returned the bike I had to pay a small fee (200baht) for a mirroir that had broke in the accident.
Epilogue: Before I went to Pai I read an article about this Canadian guy who was killed by an off-duty police man. I am also a Canadian guy. It was never settled and was very sketchy. I thought to myself that I would go to Pai but at all costs avoid the Pai police.... But hey, that weren't such bad guyz after all
okay, a few things, A. been looking forward to this vid since you told me about it at the meet up! B. meant to congratulate you on 300k, but now its 312! keep going man!
Great video on Pai. One of my favorite stays in Thailand. it's a beautiful place. The only drawback for me is the "spring break" atmosphere on walking street and the smell of ganja throughout the area. But, I'll definitely be back.
Beautiful place to visit.
Great video Chris and Haley, perfect for an older guy like me😊👍
Good to see Mom on the trip Chris, we can see the similarities ! Cheers to Mom
I have to make it over there. I been wanting to camp with my Thai Family like I do with my American Family in the USA. It is so peaceful when your camping with people you love. Thanks for sharing.
Gold vlog, bro. Think I need to buy your app. So good to see your folks enjoy Thailand, man
Please do!
Love your work Chris.. if you can call it that😃
Wow. Chris this may be my favorite video you have done. The places you showed us are the things dreams are made of.
An excellent video!!!👍😊
Thanks for reminder of Teenee we’re in Phuket.Great video.
Definitely get up to Yufuin in Japan if you love hot springs. So many free natural springs everywhere. Just look for the steam rising from the ground. If you go to an establishment no duel pricing either.
Amazing video!
Nearly 19 years ago Pia was our first date destination. Wow, never looked so nice as in the great photography. Cheers.
พวกคุณช่างน่ามากเลยค่ะ ขอให้มีวันดีๆในเมืองไทย ที่รักของพวาเรานะคะ รักกกค่ะ♥️🥰🙏🇹🇭
Looks incredible 🫶
Pai looks beautiful. I spend a lot of time in N. Thailand. I can’t complain about ‘farang pricing’. In the US, my local park charges a higher fee for out-of-county residents. 100 bhat for that beautiful hot spring: bargain. And you got my absolute favorite dish moo sahp paht grapao Kai Dow. (However it’s spelled} YT-ers keep saying Pai is hippie. It is more yuppie and hipster and retiree baby boomer. That’s all fine. I’m in one of those categories and I’ll plan to visit this year when I go back to Thailand. Thanks for a video with a lot of variety that gives a range of sites.
My favorite place in Thailand, gonna go back there soon. You should also hit Mae Hongson.

Chris: that is the best video I've seen shot in Pia stunning!
oh wow, thanks a ton!

Loved Pai when we were there in 2013! The best little big city ever!
That drive up there is crazy, 762 turns!
yeah it's nuts.....would be better on a motorbike!
@@RetiredWorkingForYou I agree!
🙋🤗 บรรยากาศดีมาก ครับ.
Mor Paeng waterfall used to be free-access, but was rarely busy when I used to go up there to do some photography.
The first round of "improvements" when they started charging were not maintained and quickly fell apart.
แม่เจ้า สวยจริงๆ ไปปายมา2รอบ แต่ไม่เคยมาตรงนี้เลย ขอบคุณพี่ชาย
That place is absolutely gorgeous…
