    I just found you and will be telling everyone I know who are seniors or with disabilities about your channel. I have fibromyalgia and have low back and si joint issues. I have to be careful what type of exercises and stretches I do as it aggravates those si joints. It seems to me this is the way to go. I mean, chair exercises. I did the weights and this one today. I’m very impressed. Thank-you!

    I do not have a chair with sides,so I set my weights vertically by my sides and use them as if they were the sides of a chair.
    Excellent work out!🦵

    This is for all of us seniors, I will be 73 next mo I was looking for exercises for seniors as other programs do not focus on seniors but the younger generation. I found Mike and his site and instantly started to look at his videos , every one of them are inspiring , well informed , explained in detail and they work. Mike looked at my exercise program and instantly told me I am exercising too hard for to many days, he advised me on the right way to go . I have been diagnosed with arthritis and scoliosis in my back, nothing will cure this but I can exercise my back, spine , hip and knee which at various time I have issues with them all, my balance has gotten better as I do not have to hang onto a chair now , I do balance every day , I also use my flat band to stretch my right leg as that has Been an issue for 6 mo all due to arthritis. The only balance I cannot do I’d the step so I don’t do that one. I was a runner now I walk either outside or on my treadmill, I alternate between my treadmill and ellipitical machine , I know I’m getting older but will not give up , since I have been following Mikes videos and just started the newest 30 day one, I feel better, have less pain in areas I’ve mentioned, I will never be pain free , but I alter what I do now and before I never took a rest day ,now I do , when we all get to this senior age it is important to keep going , have fun, end enjoy what you do . When seniors stop, they die. I will do this until my body says I need to stop. I also love to dance and I’m always dancing to a song that is playing, my husband laughs at me all the time , and told me young people couldn’t do what I do , I am careful , keep a log on what I do to monitor my exercise because if I hurt anywhere , my log tells me what I did the previous day, I love the results I get when I feel good, with this Corona thing it is so important to stay focused, do something everyday even if it’s stretching , my mat is my best friend, love who you are and SMILE (: results do happen with consistency.

    This is 1 of the 7 of Mikes exercises that I do every day. But just to add a bit of humour, the 2nd exercise in this session brings to mind that saying/hymnal/song known as the " The Rock Of Ages". However what many of you do not know is that the true meaning of those words is "You have now reached the age where you must rock in your chair in order to stand. But all jokes aside, Mike what you have done for me is beyond words. I have now after my daily routine for the past 6 months been able to achieve more mobility that I have had over the past 6 years.

    I am 79 with two bad knees. This routine fits in with several others I do regularly. Feels really good on my first time through.

    Mike doing this exercises bings my daily routine up to 6 of your exercises. But when pushing my knees in against my fist i had to modify. I have arthritis in both hands so I used a 2 lb weight between my knees. It worked perfectly. Many thanks for all the work you do to help so many people around the world exercises....

    I fell at work and blew out my right knee . I refused surgery and I had no idea that it would weaken my left leg and fell and damaged my left leg .
    Hopefully these exercises will help to strengthen my legs.
    Will do them daily as I am having a hard time walking.

    Hi Mike. Love these exercises. Boring to do my stretches and exercises all on my own. Now it feels like I have a personal trainer with me. I do a parkrun every now and then and I am an active lawn bowls player. I dont stretch and I dont warm up. Trying to do your program everyday. Just came upon your channel before the weekend. Thanks young man.

    Lovely, Mike --I'm 76, still teaching what I call "YogaCise," though all my live classes with seniors ended in the pandemic... Nice corroboration, watching you . I love nuancing, re-inventing ways to move all the muscles in the body --good to be gentle, slow and BREATHING REMINDERS: BTW: it changes the brain chemistry, allows deep, balanced state -northern CA

    Exercises are great but most of the time we can see your feet as writing covers your feet so very hard to follow.

      Hey Kamal. There is a button on the bottom of the video that says "CC" ( Closed Captioning). Unless you read the captions, you can turn them off by pressing this button. Hope that helps! :)
