It's not nostalgia. It's common sense on what the jedi are. The jedi's are the good guys period yes, they might be stuck in their ways. Most of the time but they are the good guys. This isn't Game of Thrones. There's no such thing as morally good people. Or morally bad people. It's good guys or bad guys
I think it would be funny if the final episode leaves on a big cliffhanger and Disney refuses to waste another $180 million making a second season. All the dragging out of the story just to finish the series with no real ending. A perfect way to end this hot mess.
IDK why but that scene when Kalnacca was freed from possession kinda reminded me of when Gandalf freed Theoden from Sauraman in LOTR the Two Towers....but worse
I was a bit late and only watched the episode yesterday, but really? The turning point, the big reason why everything happens is that a whiny padawan wanted to go home after being on a mission for a few weeks? Ashoka goes trough space Vietnam as a Padawan and that dude fucks everything up by ignoring direct orders because he’s bored and wants to go back to that oh so exiting Jedi temple life? They weren’t even fighting a war at that point, all the Jedi did was probably meditating and research missions, what is he expecting?
Not really sure if i remember correctly or if they changed their decision but from what i saw some time ago they were saying that theres not gonna be a season 2 cuz they fired headland from this project and they cancelled any production for a season 2 that was supposed to happen and stuff like that...but again maybe things changed or maybe it was just misinformation on my part
I like the unique concept of the show and the period, but it should really link to what fans know to be canon. There's so many questions left unanswered to tie it together meaningfully for a 30 minute finale. I'm still not sure why it needs such a cover up, but if its to establish the hubris of the Jedi then it could have been left to the prequels IMO.
This episode was meant to be the most impactful. But man it felt flat. No stakes, no emotion, so predictable. And I agree with you, the acting did not help.
I'm probably sitting on the fence with this show. I think it's barley average and the flaws are so easy to see similar to Mando season 3. I think all these shows have been slightly rushed. As I said it's just barley average
Ninja to be honest I stopped watching after episode 3 the shows trash I just hope they cancel the show lol. And I heard that the show was going to focus on a young Darth Sidious and his master Darth Plagueis and when I heard that, I was so excited, but no Disney shoved this trash show in my face. Like think about it what would you rather watch this trash show or a show about a young Darth Sidious, we would learn about his back story, but I guess you don't always get what you want thanks for nothing Disney.
Jedi using metal detectors to find a strong source of force energy...lmao. They can't sense that?

I just don‘t get why Torbin even killed himself😂😂
Thank you for your sacrifice

One explanation: Disney
They were so focused on showing different viewpoints of every scene of the flashback, they forgot to write a good story.

I wanna give a hats off to you for absolutely calling this flashback hahahha
Thank you thank you, wish I was wrong lol
I mean, it’s cool to see, It doesn’t mean it’s good or bad, It’s mediocre
I stopped watching the acolyte on episode 2 and left
Agree with you on this ep 7, im watching for curiosity but man im not sold for this show
Realistic take: Star Wars hasn't been good since Return of the Jedi.

Almost everything Disney for the last twenty years in the same... forgettable and not worth the time, let alone any money. How far they have fallen
