    Hey, thanks for the vid, just thought I'd point out that the model number is psb1800 LI-2, LI standing for Lithium Ion. Also, the torque setting is between 1 to 20 only on the screw setting. It will have no effect on the drill or hammer settings as you will always want max torque for these. It's used on the screw setting to avoid the screwdriver bit slipping and damaging the screw head. I hope that helps!

    thanks for showing how to use the power tool properly, i bought the 2 piece combo kit which comes with the hammer impact drill (psb 1800 li2) and impract driver (pdr 18li)), now i know what the psb 1800 li2 hammer impact is use for compared to the other tool and adjusting the settings for which compound being drilled into

    What is the best way to lock the key tightly? You just tighten it until it clicks, you don't tighten it and then turn it back one step again like other drills?

      Hi Gareth, I have been using the drill for about a year. I have used it to drill many holes in walls and it seems to do well. For a compact combi drill in my opinion is does a decent job.

    I paid 100€ for the one battery pack. The object is not bad, but the mandrel isn't in line. So sad to see this in a bosch product.
    The alternative for the same price was a 18v black and Decker cordless drill.
    I picked this because is made in hungary instead of china, but the final resultnis the same. For all the rest the drill works well.
    Probably going back i would chose the dewalt, even if it costs 150€ on Amazon...

    • @PhillWyattProjects
      @PhillWyattProjects  Před 4 lety

      What model of black and decker did you buy? I'm interested to know. I got such a great deal in this drill that I really can't complain although if I had paid the RRP then I'm not so sure. All in all I do like this Drill.

    • @PhillWyattProjects
      @PhillWyattProjects  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I think you might be referring to the "slow" charger which comes bundled in with the drill sometimes. They do still sell a fast charger which is a similar size to the one in this video although I think the charger in this video has now been phased out of production.

    • @PhillWyattProjects

      That's actually a multi purpose bit. They drill all kinds of materials. I've also found that many drill bits for metal drill wood very well especially in a drill press.
