Just curious, if you don't mind sharing; where were you camping? It appears to be an established campground near a road. Is this a private campground or NYS? Our local state parks don't usually allow off-season camping like this so that's why I'm wondering where you are. I live just south of Cooperstown so I'd be interested in any suggestions you may have so I can introduce folks to hot tenting before heading off into the Catskills or Adirondacks. Thanks for watching! We love to cook together at home. On our date weekend in the hot tent, we like to kick it up a notch from normal camp food.

This a campsite in the finger lakes region. It's more out of your way I think to go there than it would to go up to the ADK.
