- Here is the first part of our Florida Road Trip, our time in Miami and The Keys. This video has taken me hours upon hours to do, I really hope you enjoy it. I will be doing a few of our road trip, my travel ones never do as well in terms of views, but I adore making them, I think it is one of my favourite things to do ever.
During our time in Florida we spent 16 nights travelling the state, covering 1825 miles and staying in 8 different hotels. It really was one of the best experiences we have ever had.
I will also be doing full blog posts on each destination going into more details of how we planned it, what we thought of each hotel etc too.
I have put AD in the title of the video because on parts of the trip we were working with Visit Florida and in exchange for coverage on my channels they managed to sort us out some discounted or hosted hotel rooms or activities. Not all however, we paid in full for a lot of the activities and accommodation ourselves. We also paid for all of the things that we did, ate, etc while we were out there.

Katie, these holiday vlogs are just incredible. I usually watch family vlogs and feel sorry for the children and usually get the vibe that their parents have sold their privacy and childhood for a quick buck. But your children are so fortunate to have these videos to look back on. Family vlogging done right!

Katie it’s Just amazing, your editing and how you put it all together is just amazing so professional. You show all the atmosphere the food where you have eaten and all the fun times. This is probably one of the best videos I have ever seen. What an amazing trip! My family and I live in Florida but we have never ventured to the keys. You have inspired us to plan a family trip now!! Also major props on the editing! You can tell you put a lot of effort and time into this video and it shows! Looking forward to part 2 :)

I have been saving these vlogs for when I have time to watch properly. I loved it, it just made me want to go to Florida so much, while I'm wrapped up keeping warm in my dressing gown with a green tea!haha! just as I expected. You always manage to find the coolest places too instead of just going to the beach every day. Maddie, Lottie and Wren are so lucky to get these experiences and to be able to watch back when they are older. Lottie is literally the coolest kid ever. She just always looks so cool! :D Can't wait to watch the next parts x

Love your Travel Video's - Like everyone has said you'r editing is incredible. You should do a Q&A video about road trips - As I would like to know how far in advance you plan trips/ sights/ hotels/ budgets etc - I think it would be good, as it could encourage more couples/family's to think of going on a road trip.

Such gorgeous, extraordinary editing. Love the animations and 'arty' filler parts! Doesn't hurt that you lot are so darn photogenic ;) And it was lovely to see you in shot a bit more Katie. I remember feeling incredibly sick on our Key Largo glass-bottom boat trip when I was little - but it was worth it, as we saw a turtle. I'm really looking forward to seeing your west coast one, as it's where I have even more memories (esp. Anna Maria!). So worth your hours of editing - brilliant, quality content. :D

So far you’ve made me want to go back to New York with my kids, go on a ski holiday, go on a California road trip and now a Florida one as well! Haha! 1:31 As a local in Florida, it rains for about an hour then it stops, and almost never rains in the keys. Been going there on week trips for a couple of years, its never rained there for me! Good luck! Have fun exploring the beauty of Florida!
