- Here is the second part of our Florida Road Trip, our time in Fort Lauderdale and Anna Maria Island. This video has taken me hours upon hours to do, I really hope you enjoy it. I will be doing a few of our road trip, my travel ones never do as well in terms of views, but I adore making them, I think it is one of my favourite things to do ever.
During our time in Florida we spent 16 nights travelling the state, covering 1825 miles and staying in 8 different hotels. It really was one of the best experiences we have ever had.
I will also be doing full blog posts on each destination going into more details of how we planned it, what we thought of each hotel etc too.
I have put AD in the title of the video because on parts of the trip we were working with Visit Florida and in exchange for coverage on my channels they managed to sort us out some discounted or hosted hotel rooms or activities. Not all however, we paid in full for a lot of the activities and accommodation ourselves. We also paid for all of the things that we did, ate, etc while we were out there.

Aw, what a lovely video. Glad you fell in love with Anna Maria - it's salty, laid back paradise! Great to get some ideas of places to go with our kids when we take them for the first time (I've not been since 2006) in 2021. My parents are boarding a plane to go there right now as they go every May. Looking forward to part 3 as swimming with manatees (my favourite animal) at Crystal River is on my bucket list too.x

It really is. I always wanted to do Anna Marie (because of my name). I think I've still got the postcards that I used to pick up of it. We used to do Clearwater and St Petersburg. All of it stunning x

I have a random(?) suggestion for a video.... I’d love to see a ‘What I had in my suitcase’ of your clothes you took on holiday/ what you wore/ footwear etc because you look so effortless and trendy but practical all at the same time - I really struggle to know what to take on holiday these days/ going away with kids 😍

Anna Maria Island looks so pretty, I'd love to go one day. Florida is my favourite place to go on holiday (I'm a massive Disney lover so Disney World is my favourite place) but I'd love to go and visit lots of other places in Florida like you are doing x
It's so much fun doing a road trip, I definitely recommend it. We love Orlando so much too, it is probably our favourite place ever. But it's so nice to see what else Florida has to offer. x

The filming and editing on your travel vlogs is just superb. Some of the best quality from any vlogger I have seen. You make me want to road trip with my 3 kids, but I’m far too scared!

Two very random questions; what do you use to edit and where do you get your music from? Also, what do you use to whiten your teeth, they are amazing! 😊✨✨
Hi Emma I use Final Cut Pro to edit and get my music from Epidemic Sound. My teeth were whitened by my dentist because I got a brace last year and as part of the treatment they include whitening them. I used one of those gum guard things that you put the bleach in over night. x
Also love johns white tropical t-shirt while you was on your way out too dinner, can I ask where you got it from as I want one for hubby when we go on holiday x
