- Hello and welcome back to my channel and to the third part of our Pacific North West Road Trip videos- our time in Portland and Oregon.
We spent four nights in Portland and the surrounding area.
For our epic summer adventure we spent 17 nights travelling along the Pacific North West, we visited Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Crater Lake, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. It was the best adventure we have ever had.

We have beautiful sunsets at Cannon Beach . The sun does not rise over the ocean because we are on the West Coast,. The sunrise would have been over the mountains to the east if you wanted to see the sunrise.
Ah I see! That's where we went wrong then. At least we still got some beautiful colours in the sky.

I've lived in Portland my whole life and I almost cried watching this video. It's so amazing to see what other people do in a city where I take so many things for granted, especially since you guys are from the other side of the world. Not many people choose to come to Portland when they visit the west coast of America so thank you all, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do!!
Jenna Simpson I agree, I love Portland but unfortunately everyone just thinks of Portlandia (which I do mostly like) or the homelessness and political strife present here and miss the true character of the city. No place is perfect, but Portland feels special to me despite it all.

I really think travel vlogs are your niche. I know you’ve talked about feeling a bit lost on social media but your travel vlogs are just something else, simply breathtaking. I say it over and over but it’s so evident how much effort you put into these. They’re so professional with the personal touch. Love them xx

Yeah Portland rains a lot but something I love about this place is the beautiful sunset and sunrise! It’s so beautiful and it makes me happy to be here.

I lived in Portland from 2010-2017, great place. Second to only Seattle where I lived from 89-96. Just a suggestion, go to west coast beaches for sunsets not sunrises. And Pig in A Pancake is great for breakfast, good choice.
We didn’t realise it was better for sunsets till after we left. It’s a shame but the sky was still beautiful in the morning too 💗

We loved Portland, we were there in August. So family friendly. I got lost in Powell's for three hours! We travelled to Seaside, Oregon and was amazed by how clean the beach was.
It's an amazing place Powell's isn't it? We were in awe of how big it was.
I know I keep repeating myself but you are so incredibly talented especially editing travel vlogs! This was perfect even the musical choices 😍and that intro really moved me🥺! Love watching them (and especially this one) and I kinda wish they won't stop coming! ❤️

I’m so glad someone told you about blue star rather than voodoo donuts, I work at a resort in downtown and so many people default to voodoo instead of asking us locals what we recommend, but you definitely hit all the good local places to see!

These videos are lovely. Youre hitting on all the necessary points, nature, food, activities AND reality (like staying in to snuggle or going home early). Beautifully edited and great footage/music!
Multnomah Falls in the winter frozen is breathtaking. So is snow on the beach at Cannon and Seaside. Everyone jokes about the rain, but we are known for all our outdoor activities, all year long.

My home Oregon, Ashland to Hillsboro (that’s the very Southern end to the very Northwestern part of the state, on and off since 1965, Portland area since 1987. I love, really love this amazing state. My home. We went to Cannon Beach last week on a Sunday, one hour west from my townhome, perfect weather, where the sunsets are marvelous. No sunrises on west coast BTW. Yes, it rains here, that’s why it’s so green. Go from snow on Mt. Hood to ocean play at Cannon Beach, North Pacific Coast Hwy 101, with lakes, parks and rivers all over the state. Play, shop, and really live an outdoor life here. We are also referred to as “The Silicon Forest” as big name high tech businesses are located just down the street from me. Livable state, we have water and affordable housing with great neighbors. I am content.
It certainly is one of the most beautiful states we have visited. What a great place to live :)

Cannon Beach has sensation sun sets...faces west. Sunrise was to your back.
I know we completely didn't realise this until we were in the car, it's because we googled it and people were still talking about the sunrise. It was still beautiful and peaceful and the sky went a lovely colour.

We had a great time, and how wonderful to have a plaque for your Grandpa at the rose gardens. That's a beautiful place.
You missed one of the best playgrounds around. Just to the South of the Rose garden. But then again it would have been tough to pry them away. It looked like you enjoyed all the things my Family has experienced. Good times. Peace.

Loved watching this, reminded me of our trip last year although you seemed to cram in so much more. We stayed in Seaside for 2 nights, the town next to Cannon beach, when we probably should have stayed a couple of extra nights in Portland. I so want to go back x

I had the pleasure of visiting my partners family that live in Oregon two years ago, and it was such a beautiful and calming place to be. We are from the UK but I would go back for sure.

I loved your video, I live in a suburb just a few minutes outside of Portland and I'm a native Oregonian. You found some great parts of our city to explore, there's so much to do! I can tell you, early to Multnomah Falls or not, it's always crazy crowded but the summer is NUTS! I haven't been up there more than just driving by it and waving to it! I hope you get a chance to make it back to the US again. Washington State, Utah, Maine, NY, Massachusetts & Washington DC are just a few of my favorites.
We couldn't believe how busy it was and that was at 9am! Thank you we had a great time visiting your fantastic city :) We would love to come back and explore further one day.

Yes we don’t eat out much at all and also never go shopping really. I am going to do a video all about budgeting really soon :) x
