Helpful video, thanks! Am I missing something? I don't see why the mirrors have to be removed from car. I have ordered a pair, Ill let you know. The extra wires on the driver's side mirror are for the electro chromatic darkening glass.

Great film. But you do not really have to take the mirror housings off the car do you? I thought that you can take off the mirror housings while the mirrors is still attached on the car. But if you take the mirror off you should lay them on a carpet or something so you do not scrape the silver paint across the concrete floor.. But great informative film so thanks a lot for posting
