The author is a pacifist and usually people in real life tend to prefer to resolve conflicts peacefully if they can. Plus, the story tends to test Thorfinn with regard to the oath of non-violence he swore.
At least this show, unlike AOT, does not try to justify its protagonist's terrible choices.
Vinland Saga is not a show for kids
@@Regenmacher175 who said aot justified it's protagonist? Rather it's the opposite ...
Edgy teenager
The second season of this anime is probably the most absurd thing I've ever watched. Was it directed by Ridley Scott?
Gardar should've kept squeezing.
This anime is the biggest shit that I have never taken yet.
Read way ahead in the manga if anyone else is thinking about it, it gets pretty awful and it doesn’t seem to know if it wants to tread the enlightenment line of violence and questioning existence or overcoming past regrets.. or just make pop culture reference jokes with absolutely awful characters writing and direction.. it’ll definitely be competing with demon slayer for shittiest ways manga turned out
Sure buddy
its sad .... the way vinland saga developed...... i dont like it.
first season was way more attractive.
second season boring af
Then go and read another thing.
@@fluthlight7131 dude watched the first season, meaning that he’s invested in the story and dedicated a good chunk of his life for it. He has all the right to complain if he thinks the story is going downhill
@@MaidenlessScrub Sure, and people who like the story’s path can suggest he drop it, because if he thinks this route is boring then he’s going to be wasting his time
@@MaidenlessScrub even he invested time for the season 1, he can drop this series because the path of this one is not going to be a 360 turn just to give them satisfaction of seeing Thorfinn as an edgelord type of MC again.
if this is peaceful wait til these mfs read vagabond
