Our island only seems a paradise for the rich and for the rich colonizers that come here. The locals cant find an affordable home to live in within the medium or lower incomes.
They say that we live out thanks to tourism but the locals never feel like that a direct advantage in any context.

I have been to all the Canary Islands! Even on private islands. I especially enjoyed working in the volcanic cave overlooking the ocean. Too bad I won't be able to go anywhere for a long time. At least I'll take a look. )

Hallo everybody I was born and raised in las palmas but I ve been living in New York for 40 years I recently retired and I am planning to go to my hometown seeing this video put tears in my eyes I miss my island I have not been home in 11 years. I will be home soon. Viva Canarias and my team u.d. las palmas.

Congratulations! An absolutely outstanding video, both technically and for it's very thorough and varied content. By far the best I have ever seen! My only comment might be your almost exclusive emphasis on socialising with other nomads. As a resident here for many years, one of the single most attractive features of living here, apart from many of the highlights you touched upon, is how warm, friendly and welcoming the islanders are. Other than that, an excellent summary of life here. Thank you for making and sharing.

There are still quite a few places you missed that are fantastic you should visit next time. For example, La Aldea de San Nicolas passing through Anden Verde, spectacular cliffs in the west. Also Finca de Osorio, Tamadaba mounts, Moya, Arucas, a nice botanic park near Santa Brígida, Jardin Canario. Nice video! I lived eight years in Vegueta old town.

Es bonito , si , es barato , si y gracias al IGIC , es visitable, también , y lo recomiendo sin salir de la ruta turistica , sin ninguna duda es muy tranquilo en esas zonas y con grupos grandes... Bueno es como en todos sitios , ahora si tu idea es venir y encontrar trabajo olvídate a no ser que tengas un enchufe , se te olvidó enseñar los barrios del polígono de San Cristóbal , jinamar , el risco de San Nicolás , las rehoyas o el poligono cruz de piedra ✌️
