I am doing the suspension first. Mine broke first. I used Integty parts. Both times the lowers cracked in front of the shocks. I put new aluminum lowers and the entire knuckles on it.
Love to see how those skids hold up to some bashing. In regard to the Proline shock caps I'd normally agree with you on too dear for minimal improvement....but...for the massive weight your Maxx now is the extra oil/dampening maybe benefit it. Just a thought. Nice rig. 👌
Still running stock servo. My final set of wheels/tyresd are here on monday, so I'm gonna rit dye them and run the beat on Monday. See how the steering holds up. Sicks - to be honest Im ver happy with the stock set up. Any harder and the truck would bounce around i think.
I think if I leave the beadlock rings in the dye for 15min or so and check rather than the 45-1hr they would be a difference. I'll let you know tomorrow when I do it
Great video thanks for showing. I got the Leopard 1090kv same tires and some alu parts. You plan to change shock springs and oil? I got the second hardest springs and will put 50 wt in shocks.
Nice truck man looks good. Do u have the stock servo ? I put the 2085x in mine and today it started messing up it would go out and not work for a few minutes then it would work again. I'm not sure if i want to send it in too Traxxas or get a different one now.

ya i dyed mine and they turned out like that not real happy but much better than gray
