  • Angamardana is a physically challenging practise that provides a complete workout to the body and enables one to gain mastery over the limbs and the body as a whole. The practise provides excellent aerobic exercise and increases strength and flexibility. It is also considered to be a preparation for martial arts, and if you are looking to push yourself with something that is quite intense and active, this would be it !

    In a nutshell, it's a basic beginner hatha yoga practice, you got to start somewhere so feel free to try it out until you become more flexible, stronger and lighter, most importantly be patient and don't skip steps until you're ready for the next level of hatha yoga then move on but keep up with the practice with discipline.

    Amazing workout routine merged in Yoga asana, supplemented with proper rests in between, Kriya practice and meditation at the end. Feeling really flexible and light after practicing it for some days now. Its a great tool to build up your personal Sadhana on your own. fits in my needs for a to the point workout routine where I can build strength as well as flexibility.

    I've been doing this practice for about a month now. Earlier I used to go for gyming, functunal training, zumba, yoga etc. Angamardhana is very different from the other yoga practices that I had learnt in the studio's. I can tell that its the best thing that happened to me. I feel really fit and I can see a lot of positive changes physically. I feel my lung capacity has increased and my muscles have become much more flexible. I would recomend this to all. I just paid around 3k to learn this in bangalore and its an learning for life. Now I start my day with Angamardhana and i'm good to go for the day.

    Hello , i’m a student from nepal 🇳🇵 and its currently not possible for me to come india instead i am learning everything from here
    I do isha kriya everyday, upa yoga and a little hatha yoga. Since I started doing hatha yoga, my spine started hurting, I’m scared a bit. I’m searching for aangamardana tutorial but couldn’t find it. Please make a tutorial video on aangamardana

      have you learned surya kriya with an isha instructor? Highly recommend. I was actually on the same schedule that you just mentioned for a few months before I learned it. I can't leave my daughter for more than 48 hours or else I lose rights though, so I've been learning surya kriya and everything else from home and from local instructors in US. However, there are many ISHA surya kriya instructors (maybe some in Nepal?) and personally I feel so far that this is the most explosive practice I have found through isha. Takes you somewhere and takes you fast. I have since stopped doing the upa yoga but also want to learn angamardana. Good luck on your journey and namaskaram

    Can I learn angamardhana yoga?

    • @drstalone
      @drstalone Před 6 lety +1

      Have a read of 'healing back pain, the mind body connection' by Dr John Sarno..an easy short book to read but could be profound.. There is a thing called TMS tension myositis syndrome which is a harmless condition that can be easily self treated but of course check with your doctor to rule out serious things...

    • @drstalone
      @drstalone Před 5 lety

      @Thangam Baby, if your problem is indeed TMS (after ruling out with your doctor of any serious conditions), then, Sarno has a number of guidelines on how to go about addressing the issue. In a nutshell though, the focus should be on emotional issues not physical. Google for tmswiki and TMS forums for more information, and try the cheap and easy to read 'Healing Back Pain' book by John Sarno. It's also on CZcams here: m.czcams.com/video/ZTXjsexiDKE/video.html

    • @drstalone
      @drstalone Před 5 lety

      Self treatment here doesn't mean any physical manipulation at all, but about understanding the reasons for the pain. If you do the latter, there will be massive relief from pain. I could feel massive releases of tension when I was in the middle of reading Sarno's book. As Sarno says, the information is the medicine.

      The subtleties cannot be learnt online. If something goes wrong, no one will be there to correct. Suggest you find an Isha teacher in your vicinity. Mistakes that you make and do not realise will be corrected at the outset. Follow up classes are offered free there to check for mistakes that might have crept in over time. Yogasanas and related exercise cannot and should not be learnt online.

      You want the best things in life for free? But you are ready to spend money for just pleasure like movies to partying...why is that someone has to spend their money, time and energy for free and for your benefit? Just for earning a living you have spent so much money and time all your life in educating yourself, but you wanted the highest things in life at someone else's expense...? The day people work and not expect salary and ready to give up for people who don't have even food, they can ask things for free. By the way, Isha gives education, food and many benefits to the poor, without taking money and where do you think the money will come from? The nature of the world and especially country like India has become: If I earn money, it is for my well being, but if my neighbour earns, he is money-minded. What a sick and narrow way to look at things?
