I haven’t personally heard the Kenwoods so I can’t provide an opinion on those. I’ve seen some videos people have done, but you really can’t judge sound quality from CZcams videos. What I wanted was audio with more clarity and these Hertz speakers nail that for sure. Volunteer has these on sale for $100 off right now so, for me, picking these up (given their reputation) was a no-brainer.
