Living in the rural Scottish Highlands is not for everyone. This type of living has its challenges. However, this move has meant I get to live the simple life I crave. I am surrounded by nature at all times and adore going on adventures or simply taking a quiet ramble.

Fantastic! I lived in Edzell when I was in elementary (Primary) school, when I was in my early 20s & single, and when I was in my early 30s & married. Mt father was a US Navy officer as was I. I think Scotland is the most beautiful place on the planet. Keep up the good work.

What a wonderfully articulated film! It made me think of every summer school holiday where our family would travel up from England to North western Scotland. Those experiences were the best of times and the most fresh pine fragrant yet at the same time we saw magical animals! Red deer,Eagles mountain hare. Two weeks out of 53 weeks showed me how a life should be lived. A subscriber 👍🏼

Lovely video. I’m glad you’ve found your place. I’d love another video on the challenges living in the Highlands one day perhaps. We holiday there most years and have often talked about moving but worry it wouldn’t feel as magical when we’re not on holiday!

I just subscribed to your channel....I live in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in the Southern USA. I have a lot of Scottish blood and our history tells us that many Scottish people immigrated to this part of America because it reminded them of home. As I watch your videos, I can see why they felt at home here.

Hi Molly! I really love to watch your videos, i think we have a similar way of living. I leave so, so far away from Scotland, exactly i live in Uruguay, South America. Last year one of my dreams came true, and i visited your beautiful country.
