Ja das was wir Gott oder Bewusstsein nennen, ist um uns und in uns, wir sind nicht getrennt wohl dem der es fühlen und empfinden kann. Auf psychologischer gedanklicher geistiger Ebene sind wir alle miteinander vernetzt, ob im physischen Sein, oder in der jenseitigen Welt, sie existiert im unsichtbaren. Diese Musik gibt mir persönlich sehr viel, gerade wenn man seine Gefühle freien Lauf lässt dann kommen auch ein paar Tränen in den Augen.

I also noticed a few difference in syncopation on the pedal from the written version to the way you played it here bars 12 and 25. It’s nothing major, I can adjust, but just wanted to know if the written score had typo or were you doing a bit of improvisation 🙂

I have so many times wondered if Gurt was ever going to learn how to play the organ on his own. On occasion there may be more than one person assisting. What is the need I don't understand? Does he think that it gives the impression that playing this instrument is harder than it is!
What's the problem? Many concert organists play with their music sheets in front of them, being turned by a registrant. Of course the Anneessens-organ in Geraardsbergen has the possibility to preselect combinations of stops, that often can be "switched" by the organist himself. Sometimes it depends on the organ. Playing a great baroque organ without any mechanical or "electric" help often needs two registrants, because there are many stops to pull - during playing with two hands and two feet - at both sides (sometimes over the head ) of the player. The famous organbuilder Cavaille-Coll placed in the cathedral Saint-Sulpice in Paris the swell-organ pedal so far away from the player, that he had no chance to use it by himself, especially while playing difficult literature. It was the organ of Widor and Dupre!! I cannot really believe, that you think, Gert van Hoef makes a show, how hard it is to play this instrument!
Too much body movment but still great artist!
Entschuldige, aber wenn er wenig body movment macht, dann ist es nicht mehr diese Musik. Also braucht man diese: much body movment, um diese Musik zu spielen.
Hömma Gert, du kannst deine Frau am Ende ruhig auch mal in den Arm nehmen!
