I ran the longest Hollow Knight Speedrun and it was Pure Suffering

- This is a run of All Achievements NMG, The Longest Hollow Knight category on the leaderboards. The category requires two different save files to be completed, and totals up to around 10 hours of playtime. As you might expect, that means the run is complete suffering to get through. I set out to finish a run, and ended up getting second place!

Hi! For those wondering, Low% True Ending (popularised my runners like Skurry) is not an actual leaderboard category, because it is not run single segment. (Meaning the player takes breaks in the run) This category is the longest No Major Glitches category on the leaderboards for Hollow Knight!
Will I run Low% TE at some point? Probably!

isn't there a guy doing serious attempts at low% godhome? Also, not really according to Skurry since the madman had finished that run.

Blue is the anti-Hollow Knight CZcamsr. He saves and gets exited over grubs, talks to Elderbug and is over-all doing things other HK CZcamsrs don't do.
Finally, someone who doesn't hate grubs-
Does any other major Hollow Knight runner besides Fire born actually hate grubs, tho? He seems to be the only one who actively dislikes them.

@@l.n.3372 funny thing about that. I don’t think fireborn actually hates grubs. Based on all that I’ve watched... he’s saved grubs when he doesn’t have to.

He edits out the process tho. Usually only showing him approaching the grub and then leaving the room, editing out the breaking of said grub jar. So he clearly wants his fans to continue to think that he hates the grubs, even if it's just a running joke by now.
Also, he actively won't save them - or be shown saving them - even when time or speed doesn't matter. Unlike say, other popular runners who will always break grub jars for fun.
So Skurry doesn't exist?
I wondered why the first run was Neglect-Happy Couple-Banishment until I realized you can get them back-to-back-to-back (Sheo is in Greenpath, Zote’s corpse is right outside Howling Cliffs, and the Nightmare Lantern is in Howling Cliffs proper).
Also I died laughing at “Hornet went to Australia to work on Silksong”.

The fact that dream bosses and Radiance are in the journal implies that The Hunter has a dream nail and has defeated the Radience. A Hunter boss would be sick
Don’t mean to be rude but only the journal entries that have his mark on it are actually written by him, bosses that have the dream symbol are just there for gameplay purposes(dream warriors and Grimm troupe enemies fall under this)Still the radiance does have his mark in her journal entry so yeah I don’t know how the fuck he fought her
@@The_Average_Enjoyer I get what you're saying, but the question then becomes: who wrote them in world? I understand them existing for the player, but they ARE in the journal.
@@thecouncilofprotection maybe the knight wrote them, he’s able to draw the map so it’s not so far fetched that maybe he wrote those entries

Another option would be that the hunter DID write them, but only because of legends about dream warriors, rumours about the Troupe, and maybe he found the Radiance statue on the Crown. He could've even wrote the White defender entry using stories about Ogrum in his golden age. The other dream bosses could only have been written by the knight, the others could have potentially be done by the Hunter

It’s under appreciated how hard some of these speed runs and skips are, and you have gotten wr at some point for some really difficult runs like 0 geo or ASS and that’s super impressive
I also enjoy your videos a lot they’re very entertaining, I love watching all the different speedrun categories for HK and seeing all their routes and unique strats
Dang, that is some serious dedication. I got all 63 in three days (after doing them on PS4 first so it was not the first time), and that was hard enough. You and Skurry are both madlads/madpeople.

My favourite long speedrun (it's a meme speedrun so not as legit as this category, which is insane I didn't think non-meme runs could go for so long) is the cutting every blade of grass in Hollow knight speedrun it's crazy

@just a flygon would low% godhome be that long? If anything, it would be shorter, right? I mean, having to kill all bosses without most abilities only sounds hard, not long. The reason low% TE takes so long is because you have to farm essence from enemies, which has a drop rate of 0.5%. That's why it's so time consuming. Killing all bosses without basic equipment may sound tough but it doesn't sound particularly long. Unless I'm missing something obvious.
@@nguyeninhtri1155 of course it'd be long because of low damage, but I don't think that'd compare to 40 hours of one room, and I assume you're talking about that. I don't think they're all that similar, really, they're two super different runs, I think they're just mentioned with each other because it's the same game and they're both low percent
@@nguyeninhtri1155 Kinda old comment, but the Godhome ending also requires Voidheart, so yeah you would have to not only grind for essence but also kill the bosses, so low% godhome would be painfully longer than low% true ending
@@niebarkol2343 yeah you’re kinda late but what i meant was that the essences would be easier to get considering that you have to kill all bosses including dream warriors and dream bosses. Low% TE is hard because low% means that you have to kill as little bosses as possible. When your default condition is all bosses low% godhome is just a matter of how little progression items and abilities do you need to beat godhome.
Finding out how young you are is a jumpscare every single time.
Regarding isma’s tear, I watched so many speed runs that I thought the acid skip was the intended way to do it haha so I did! Wasn’t until I got there I saw another way in
