- In this video, Fire and I made a new hollow knight multiplayer game, where we need to race to obscure locations in Hallownest, with only a vague, zoomed in image as a hint! It was a lot of fun, and a good way for me to attempt my revenge against the God Gamer himself, after him beating me in that bingo race a while ago...

It could just be a place that sells stuff if you can win the shell game but only once per victory because the person is a con artist (but an unusually honest con artist)

You can redo it as many times you want ( i saw windette do it 2 times in his "pure soul" challange vids) i dont think he used mods there

I mean they're both speedrunners they could probably complete it in a few minutes
@@ttmfndng201 remember, they can hit and shoot each other straight into spikes/saws, which send the player to the nearest "ground checkpoint" on hit ( and it's not many of them in PoP ). That would be an ORDEAL.

(replying to everyone here) I mean, marmu is hard on first playthrough, but for speedrunners I would assume not. you basically just stand still and swing up. which isn't perfect, you'll still get hit a couple times in my experience, but overall works for the win every time.
Fun fact: there is actually an easy way to distinguish Greenpath from the Queen's Gardens even by such small images. These tiny flower spots on moss are light-green on Greenpath and white in the Gardens, signifying those areas belong to different higher beings. Round 3 could actually be much shorter

How about you both read at the same time an obscure line of dialogue, the same way you two did the picture reveals, and you both try to race each other to the lore tablet or npc that says that line of dialogue? It would test your game knowledge and your lore knowledge at the same time!
man, that would be absolutely terrifying if you get one of the super obscure lore tablets, especially the ones that require Spore Shroom to read.

one key thing to pay attention to to tell the difference between Queens Gardens and Greenpath is the little motes of light in the foreground Queens Garden has White motes of light while Greenpath has greenish yellow motes
Imagine if to win in geogeussr you need to get to given location in real life

I play randomizers with all settings excluding curses so I know where every geo rock, totem etc is and recognized all images immediately.

I actually remembered the Queen's Gardens soul totem exactly. I'm proud of that one.
I'm amazed that I identified all locations instantly (except for Lake of Unn's ceiling, that's insane) but I know I'd never be as fast as they were getting around
It feels good to know the spots as well as they do. They did a great job though!

I think it would be a good idea to do a final with another geo guesser except it is an amount of geo and first to guess what drops that amount when killed.

How did I remeber that he soul totem was in Queen's garden? I never played it (yet watched it like a billion times) and still nailed the general location

I recognized the marmu soul totem and the top of lake if Unn within 1 second despite not seeing them for over a Year.

What I thought while watching this video was that the Hollow Knight team made it completely out of the same shape when placing the background sprites
