Disembarked from SS Nevasa at this dock in 1970. Called in here years later on Sky Princess 2021. Sailing on this majestic ship in May 2024. Superb video.

We will be posting to youtube a video of our trip. I would love to include a few seconds of your drone photography of the QM2. Its a beautiful Iconic ship and the worlds last great ocean liner ! That said I am a Star Trek fan having watched since the first episode in 1966 until present day. London is not space dock and the QM 2 is not the USS Enterprise ! A friendly reminder The SS United States Broke the Atlantic speed record both ways on her maiden voyage and achieved 35.59 knots in 1952 taking the Blue Riband form the Queen Mary and still holds that prize today!
It looks as if it's received a paint job since the last picture I saw of it in FL. It was getting pretty shabby. Cruise ships aren't' very attractive today, but this is one of the better looking ones. Great drone footage.

Today the Queen Mary 2 is the last Ocean liner. And for the 21st century she is "The ship beautiful".
