It's got some good moments here and there. I liked the character of Father Uffizi. He was doing some serious Belmont level slaying in this and the sequel. Apparently the writers of this flick and Dracula 2000 wanted 2000 to be more like this film in regards to the priest and the whole studying Dracula for the secret of immortality story angle. I thought the third film Legacy was better.

This was kinda good and cheesy...Craig Sheffield look like a broke man's Buffy Angel..but liliss Law and Order was good 👍 bogus on the Spike one...
The only good part of this movie was the priest using a whip to defeat Dracula,almost a Belmont.
Still the closest we have to a live action Castlevania movie today.
First Dracula was better Gerard "Gerry" Butler was a better vampire. This movie is pure stupidity.
The film was made as a sequel to Dracula 2000, but it was a very uninteresting and stupid film because Gerard refused to star in the sequel.
Dracula III Legacy was better. Rutger Hauer was great as Dracula.
