Hey there, Shea (would you believe my name is Whitney Shea?! ;0)... when I try to click on the wall diffuser it comes up with a different item than you talked about?
Hi Shea, trying to get the plug in wall diffuser but a different one comes up when I click the link. Can you by chance post/give me the name of it so I can search fit it. Really wanna get it ❤ thank you so much
Another spider hack. Plant mint in planters (mint will grow wild and invasive if not contained in a planter). I keep a pot of mint on my front porch (spring through fall) and it wards off the spiders. Added bonus, pluck leaves now and then and steap in your tea or hot chocolate.... cam also infuse in drinking water in the summer for extra cooling effect (I like to infuse mint and cucumber as a combo)..... so goood!
@@loriharvey5938 spiders will do that with any plant outside whether in a pot or the ground, sometimes even in the grass. The mint still works. You just need to address the critters.
I love these ideas! Just as a caution though, as many pet owners are not aware, I would advise speaking to your vet before using peppermint in a plug in if you have pets. Certain essential oils can be very toxic to use around pets. Here is a list. Peppermint • Cinnamon • Citrus (d-limonene) • Pennyroyal • Pine • Sweet birch • Tea tree (melaleuca) • Wintergreen • Ylang ylang • Anise • Clove • Thyme • Juniper • Yarrow • Garlic
I live in Coastal Georgia where spiders are a year round issue. You can put water in about a 6oz spray bottle, add 20 drops of peppermint oil, shake well and mist around doors, windows and any place you've seen them and they'll move out or not enter in the fist place.
Shea this is one of the best videos you’ve ever made, and I’ve been watching since the beginning. So many unique tips, I especially loved the blanket and stainless steel cookware tips.
Spiders also don't like vinegar, so adding that and essential oils like mint, citrus and eucalyptus and spraying it around your baseboards, doors windows and under furniture works really well. You are the only other person I've ever heard use the flip-a-coin trick! I say, when you flip the coin and get the result, if you think, "I'll do two out of three", that means you really want the opposite of what the first flip is. 😊
That necklace hack is a game changer! I love to layer necklaces and some of my favourites are just too short to work well this way. Now I can just pair a "too short" with a longer one and adjust them to sit just right! Thank you!
Hi. Thank you for this blanket folding idea. I used it for my sheets and pillow cases. I love it. Now, the sheets are stacked neatly and the pillow cases too because they're are tucked inside the sheet pockets. Brilliant!
The coin flip hack is brilliant! I have had many times in my life where I truly listened to my inner voice and I know it's correct. I never knew there was a physical act to bring it out. Thank you, girl!!!
To help the natural peanut butter incorporate, I turn the jar on its side overnight, like fine wine. After turning it right side up, I use a long handled spoon and it isn't as hard to stir and mix. The oil can actually get to the bottom much easier and less effort than you think.
I loved the stainless pan nonstick hack! Can't wait to try it! Also, loved turning the peanut butter jar upside down! Great idea! (Btw, I use a knife to mix it, much easier than a spoon)
I LOVED this video, and especially the BE HAPPY 😅 segment!! My husband and I recently attended a nephew’s wedding, and during the reception we decided to take a selfie of us 💁♀️. Well, truth be told , neither of us is anywhere near savvy taking a selfie (I know,I know , pretty lame 🙄🤣) !! I do something similar to the coin-flipping trick. If I'm not sure what choice I want to make, I just ask my husband. After hearing his response, I always suddenly know what I actually want. Sometimes he answers and I find myself happy to agree, sometimes he answers and I realize I hate it and I want the other option. He always asks me why I bother asking him if I'm just going to pick the other choice, and it's like, I didn't like your choice, so clearly you gave me the wrong answer😂🤣
Thanks, Shea. The best part of my day hack was my favorite one from this video. My oldest daughter has just hit her teens and is always grumpy. I'm gonna try doing this with her together every day and see if I can turn her frown upside down! God Bless!
Someone may have already said this, but if you take a spray bottle and put water and the mint essential oil in it, spray around the house perimeter (outside) it’s a non toxic bug spray which will deter the bugs from coming in. 😊 No one should use pest controls as no matter how “non-toxic” they SAY they are, they’re poison. Poisonous to people, pets, good bugs, wildlife, everything. Thanks for bringing up the mint essential oils hack!
Thank you! One concern I have about these vitamins is that vitamins degrade in light. That is why most vitamins come in dark bottles. I wonder why these don’t?

Hi Shea, love your channel!! Just wanted to advise you of something you may not know and you might want to put as a small disclaimer when you are giving the advise to use essential oils. There are a lot of essential oils that are straight up toxic to dogs. All dogs have a stronger sense of smell than humans and this can be Deadly to them. Peppermint is one of them. There are quite a few actually, I just thought I would mention this, because you were talking about them getting rid of bugs, which they absolutely do! Your channel is fun to watch. Keep up the great work!!😊
Shea, thank you so much for not showing images of real spiders in your video! Love all the hacks but my favorite is the coin hack. I have ADHD and I’m terrible at making decisions or choices, especially when I have too many choices so thank you ❤️
My younger brother always tells me to do the coin flip when it comes to decision making! I cannot believe I am hearing this from you too! It really works!
The water trick is good for telling what temperature you have the pan at but if you want to make it non-stick, you need to season it with coconut oil. There are a lot of videos on here on how to do it.

Love your videos! I will say people with pets should not use peppermint essential oils in a diffuser. It can be toxic for dogs and cats. What I do is spray peppermint around windows and outside doors.

Love these hacks! Just be aware of what type of essential oils you use if you have pets! Some are toxic. Our dog had seizures from me using lavender. Once I stopped using it the seizures stopped!
I will say i really appreciate most of the hacks in this video do not cost you any money at all ❤ sometimes its great to have hacks that don’t need extra pieces
Shea, my flip coin trick involved where to go for a weekend getaway. So we packed our bags, got on the interstate. As we got to the I-85/ 65 interchange we flipped a coin. So heads north - tails south. We went north to Tennessee. Such a goofy trip with our kids. It was fun.
Wonderful video! 🌈 The picture hanging one was the one I needed because I love art on my walls. The blanket folding one was great. But the best for inner growth was photographing the best part of your day. I will start today. And finally, gorgeous engagement ring!
The peppermint essential oil hack also works for mice. I have taken cotton balls with peppermint oil and put them in different places to ward off mice when especially living out in the country. I think it is the humane way to get rid of spiders and/or mice! I am getting ready to hang some pictures, wow mind is blown that hack will save tons of frustration. Love all the hacks thanks for sharing!
Be careful with essential oils if you have pets - dogs, cats, house bunnies are not good with various scents e.g so far as I know peppermint, cinnamon and eucalyptus oil is toxic for dogs.
Oh I love the coin flip idea and the photos. Love, love, love your content. I never get sick of it. Always entertaining, you seem so nice and it makes me happy to watch you.
I use 100% peppermint oil & put 1 drop under my tongue to get rid of headaches & migraines! I put several drops of peppermint oil in a spray bottle & spray around doors & house to get rid of bugs!
I feel like such a fool regarding the peanut butter hack!!! I have been stirring the oil back into the jar and it's been killing my hands, wrists! I used to just dump the stuff in a bowl, stir forever, then transfer back into jar! NO MORE!!! THANK YOU!!!!
I found the necklace hack interesting, however I realized that one of the necklaces must be plain (w/o a charm) otherwise if you use two charmed necklaces one charm would be backwards. Loved the blanket and ass pan hacks wonderful!
Flipping the coin hack- I used this while raising my children when they came for advise (of course not on big decisions but little things like what coat to wear or restaurant to choose). I’d immediately say a choice they gave without even thinking about it, if they were disappointed I’d say then do the other. I’d explain to them that I did that immediately after because many times you really do have a preference but don’t realize you do until you are pushed to the other. The coin flip is perfect replacement!
Wow! Actually good life-changing hacks! Love the "best part of your day" hack but srsly, I'll be using all of these. (Except the necklace one since I don't wear necklaces. But good to know for my girls!)
I am so glad you popped onto my feed. Excellent hacks, who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks I am not an old dog but I certainly am old. I learned some great hacks, thanks.
Since I saw your video, I’ve done the blanket fold❤; the frying pan ❤; and the peanut butter!❤❤❤. This one really worked so well. I buy Kirkland organic PB , and the product was always so hard/non-stirable near the bottom of the jar !! Had to toss it out. What a waste. Not anymore. My refrigerated PB is now always ❤smooth and creamy every time.
Great hacks! A word of caution on Essential Oils for those with young children & pets: DO NOT use essential oils around children under 30 months! Some can cause seizures in young children. And cats don’t tolerate them. Most cannot be used around dogs so please be careful. I love essential oils, but please use with caution and do your research.
One issue with the picture hanging technique with the painter's tape. The tape needs to have sticky side OUT. Otherwise you're going to hang the picture opposite to how you originally measured which, if your nail spots were not perfectly lined up on the picture, they will be slightly off on the wall, possibly too close or too far from the neighboring hanging items. Otherwise, I like the tips!

Omg I cannot wait to do the necklace hack . that's amazing. Thank you Shea once again. Love from Ireland xx 🇮🇪❤️😘😘😘
I feel like such a fool regarding the peanut butter hack!!! I have been stirring the oil back into the jar and it's been killing my hands, wrists! I used to just dump the stuff in a bowl, stir forever, then transfer back into jar! NO MORE!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Louder music !! The best!! It works
I adore looking for the best part of our day I suffer from depression and this is a perfect sugestion
😮 Every single one of these ideas are absolute gold, even the sponsor! Many thanks! 💕
That blanket fold is awesome. I'm a bit dyslexic So I practiced on a sheet of paper. Yay! I will be saving this video I love it. ❤ Thanks.
I found the necklace hack interesting, however I realized that one of the necklaces must be plain (w/o a charm) otherwise if you use two charmed necklaces one charm would be backwards. Loved the blanket and ass pan hacks wonderful!
The blanket and necklaces!
Pink is the colour of the episode💓🌺😉🌷
PB hack is life-changing! 😊 🤯
Great tips Shea! I love the flip a coin and take a pic of the best part of your day. It makes you think more positively for sure! 😁💜
I do not know where you get these hacks, but I always learn at least one thing I will use. Usually lots more!
I can’t wait to try the necklace hack!! 😍 And will definitely try the essential oils! I hate spiders 🕷️🕸️ Thanks for the ideas
Or rotate the tape like she did it upside down on the wall to have the correct spacing
Some of your hacks are truly useful! Thanks!!!
My husband and I are from Pittsburgh. We now live right over the PA border in Ohio 1 hour from Pittsburgh.
