I've received many requests for more videos on my bobber so I decided to upload this after considering how difficult it was for me and how I wished people online can tell me how they did it because I had no resources and had to figure it out on my own. This is over 140 hours of work compiled over weeks. Heavily cut and edited to show the whole process in the building of my bobber. I apologize for the choppy music in the background. I truly hope this video helps. Subscribe for more of my random tutorials and blogs!

Very nice job! Really glad you made that tall sissy bar! The tank is fantastic! I want to say one thing, I never solder electric connections on my builds, always use crimp connected covered in shrink tubing. Solder connections are not allowed on airplanes or boats. They are negatively effected by vibration and can become brittle and crack. Just something we have always been careful of. But to each his own, not knocking your build. When I finish my current Shovel I just might try one of these, looks like fun!!!!!!!!!

I'm not usually a fan of how shadows are done as bobbers but this was well done! I really like how you did the tank they can look bulky at times and the seat and sissy bar really make the bike. Awesome work!

Okay usually I watch these bike builds without much more than some guy with a grinder and some ebay chinese made added on's and finished off with a rattle can paint job. But you guys just the tank alone.....wow great job.

Das ist der Z-Lenker von Fehlings. (B x H x T): 620 x 280 x 80 Bekommst Du bei Louis für 149,- Euro. ES haben knapp alle Züge gepasst, nur die Bremsleitung habe ich durch eine Stahlflex ersetzt. Kabel durch den Lenker zu führen ist etwas kniffelig, aber machbar.

Lukas Schäfer Servus Lukas, freut mich, dass Dir das Video gefällt.
Die Sitzbank ist von unten an der Querstrebe verschraubt, die ich einschweiße, wenn ich das Heck abgesägt habe.
Schau mal das Video mit der silbernen Wok-VT an. Da scheisse ich doch eine Querstrebe (vierkantrohr) unterhalb der Sitzbank an. Da wird die Sitzbank dran befestigt!

Sorry für die späte Antwort. Ja Kabel wurden um ca 15 cm verlängert. Ist ein morz krampf die Kabel durch den Lenker zu ziehen.

Muss man jede Änderung des Heckfenders eigentlich beim Tüv eintragen lassen?
Diese Änderung solltest Du eintragen lassen. Ist ja nur noch ein Einsitzer, Tiefer durch ULM und die Sissybar habe ich auch eintragen lassen, obwohl nicht zwingend notwendig.

Sorry my friend. I can not measure the size, because I have sold the bike allready. But I mean it could be 3-4 cm shorter then the original.

Meine Frage an dich, in welchem Zustand kaufst du die Maschinen, die umgebaut werden sollen ?
So von den gefahrenen km und dem allgemeinen technischen Zustand her.
Ich würde empfehlen, eine bis max. 30TKM zu kaufen. Eher noch 20TKM. Dabei würde ich nicht mehr ausgeben als 2200,- Euro, auch wenn viele Verkäufer andere Vorstellungen haben. Beim Kauf würde ich drauf achten, dass die Gabelsimmeringe noch fit sind, noch nicht zu viel verbastelt ist und der Allgemeinzustand noch passabel ist. Alson kein Rost und solche Sachen.
Meine Shadow hat jezt 100’000 Km und fährt immernoch wie ne eins 😉
ja klar, keine Frage. Die Motoren heben schon ne lange Zeit, aber wenn ich ein Projekt starten möchte, würde ich doch eher zu weniger Kilometer raten. Sonst hast den Umbau fertig und das Moped streckt nach 10TKM die Flossen, weil es der Vorbesitzer evtl. nicht richtig gepflegt hat. Habe auch schon VTs gesehen, die bei 70TKM hinüber waren.

Den Rahmen kann man sicherlich noch kürzer abhauen. Wollte allerdings ein bisschen auflagefläche für den Sitz haben.
