How do you afford everything?? How do i start? I’m 21 and still trying to move out of my family’s toxic environment. I have credit, money in savings, and i make $19 an hour. Working 40hr a week. Rent is just really high in CO! Can’t find an apartment cheaper than 1,200 a month 😮 not many apartments are available to choose from!
Hi! i’m 17 and starting to loook into getting my own place when i turn 18. what im doing is splitting my checks/tips into savings and checking. i take 50-75% of my tips and check and put it into a savings account i cant touch and have a goal set. i.e. 4000 by a set date. i also keep in mind my goal of why i’m saving money. i.e. to move out and get my own apartment. this has really helped and in the last week i’ve already managed to save about 100$. if you’re super worried id also look into getting a second job if that’s an option for you. i know for me my anxiety is through the roof about not being able to afford rent so i’m considering getting another job as well
You are a queen. Love the thought and motivation you put into this and make it happen especially so young!
Thank You so Much ❤️

Where do u work to earn $19/hr
The issue isn’t what you make at that job, the issue is that you don’t have a second job or similar paying side hustle.
