As someone who literally started figure collecting WITH the Revoltech figures. (First imports were the Revoltech Hot Rod and Starscream.) I have absolutely no problem with these Revoltech figures, All Might looks SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!
That crouching pose at the end is just too good.
With all the revo stands i get i like to take some apart and combine them to form longer stands. I tighten them in the process as well so that they can be used for flight. The newer bases have a ton of pegholes too so one base can accommodate several figures in action.
One thing I hate about the packaging is that it looks so good I never wanna throw it away and then I become a hoarder I’ll just have boxes laying around what do you do with them Bossman
I have all my high end boxes in storage boxes. Every once and a while I'll go open the box up and look at how pretty they all are
I just recycle them. The boxes are cool, but if youre not collecting to one day cash in, then you have to let them go!
Try collecting gunpla and you’ll have even more boxes that you don’t want to throw away. Ugh

I still think that all the All Mights are off and missing something. This was good but we still need a great one.
I was thinking about it the other day and I think Overhaul could be like their Carnage figure because of his quirk and what he does later in the show.

Great review Robo! Always enjoy watching your vids. I have this All Might arrive last week and totally agree with your joys and gripes. My left wrist peg popped off when I tried to swap the fist. Also, left thigh was really loose and needed some fixing.
How did you get your shoulder blades moving so smoothly? Mine are super stiff even after heating them up.
In fact I'm glad I went with the Figma figures for this license. I have loads of Revoltech figures but I haven't bought one in ages, when buying Revoltech I normally go with the characters no one else releases because when I have other options I go with those. Thanks for the review.

@@DevonFleck93 Its an opinion and not a fact, this isn't math or science man it's action figure collecting. I don't dislike the Deku Revoltech, it isn't bad but I still prefer the Figma one. As I already stated if you said it was your opinion I would simply agree without even commenting that in your opinion the Revoltech representations of My Hero Academia are the best, even though Max Factory hasn't released or even announced an All Might Figma. Truth is I don't even think that this All Might Revoltech is a good enough figure, I'm not saying it's bad but in my opinion it's not good enough that I would even consider having two representations of the same character made by two different companies in my collection. With Deku I considered it but not with All Might. I have to take into consideration that my opinion is being based on what I can observe through this review (don't get me wrong I love the Fwoosh reviews, in fact they are so good that I sometimes base my decisions about buying action figures solely by watching them), maybe having it in hand would change my opinion a bit but I have enough years of action figure collecting under my belt to know that most often then not my opinion wont change that much just by having the figure in hand at least not for the better. All this just to help you understand... opinions aren't facts and if you can manage to learn this lesson here and now, without end up thinking that you know it all or that your opinions are final and that other peoples opinions aren't worth taking into consideration, you could actually grow into a fine young man and some day, when you hear ppl say that CZcams is trash or that collecting action figures will take you nowhere you can say "I learned some valuable life lessons on CZcams discussing action figures"!!!

I have to agree. The comic book variant of the mafex spiderman or the bandai dragon ball statues make the figure pop. I think a variant of this with the heavy shading could do a lot for it but idk if revoltech has ever even attempted that.
2:24 Dunno why but that cracked me up
I feel like this figure has the best All Might sculpt compared to the other lines, but I’m not a fan of the joint engineering. I kinda draw the line when the you have sacrifice huge gaps in the sculpt get the joint angle you want.
I also wish his body had more paint on him and wasn’t so shiny.

I haven't brought a revoltech in sometime, and it mainly because I'm not really happy with were the line has gone ever since they started doing the comic figures line. They strip away a lot of things that made revoltech fun when I was still collecting theme back in the queen's blade or mgs days, things like sculpt order articulation. Which made the figures fun, they are made to do crazy looking pose with. Not to look good in a standard standing pose people always grip about revoltech not look good in.

So I have several revoltechs, as it appears in the video when you hold him by the ankles, the joints don’t click lock, but they do on the other ones I have. I was worried I has bootleg at first.

I bought this figure. It’s a pain in the ass in almost every way possible. The joints are loose, so much in fact that putting the effects around a punch causes his arm to fall. For $100 after shipping, it leaves a lot to desire. Getting this thing to look good and stay in a fixed position is like trying to pick up a complete puzzle and move it. Even the stand is too slippery depending on the pose. His feet tend to slide around. This figure will leave you frustrated.

Right, so it's basically confirmed that the Bandai America My Hero Academia figures are overseas exclusives because McFarlane holds the domestic distribution rights within the US, this is sadly proven by the fact that the only listing for them on Amazon is sold and shipped from Amazon UK
Got caught up in the hype for this, I thought this would be THE All Might figure, but looks like the yamaguchi line put one over on me again. The engineering on the Deku fig got me overestimating the improvement in the line.
Shadow Fury I mean, it’s the best looking all might figure that’s been released that’s not a statue. If figma gets around to one it might be better, but there’s a good chance it’ll be a lot smaller too, which I would kinda hate compared to this one’s size.

It's just that the way they made the Deku was really good, so I thought they'd do that with this one. I should have figured they'd reuse some styles from their bulky characters.
I don't regret it, just wish they improved on stuff more.

Hopefully Revoltech will release the manga dimenison just like Grandista did because like Grandista the Manga dimension is much more accurate than the regular version and the regular version looks like this revoltech Al Might. I know im not talking about action figure, i'm talking about statue but more or less it's a toy maybe, revoltech can apply it.btw I own the manga dimension and i still waiting for my revoltech Al might.

Wish the torso was wider and I really just don't like that shoulder design that revoltech uses on the bigger figures, it just almost never looks good, I wish they'd try something more normal.
I'm disappointed but I think I let my expectations get a little too high. I was instantly excited and then Deku came out and was so good it made it worse. It still looks good and still *feels* like All-Might, it's just that I still have to hope for more All-Mights from other companies and I hoped I wouldn't have to.
I really wonder if there's any company that could do an actual fully shaded figure, maybe Mafex? Based on their comic paint Spiderman. I would be willing to pay a lot for that if any company nailed it!
Also seeing that comparison makes me really really interested in what one of the spare Revoltech heads would look like on the McFarlane 🤔🤔
jeez on the sample the stand has 3 layer while we get only 2. I'm dissapointed that I get this figure. It hards to do the posing on the sample.
